One of the first secrets Elden Ring teases for players to inquire about is a fog wall unlocked with two stonesword keys at an imp statue in the Stranded Graveyard. Thankfully, Elden Ring's custom character creation allows players to select a keepsake item to start a fresh save file with, and one of these items happens to offer two stonesword keys. As a result, players can instantly access the Fringefolk Hero's Grave at the start of their playthrough if they so desire.

Many players such as Redditor Psykaitic have come upon a neat and intended trick for players to effectively dispatch the chariot. At one point in this monumental Elden Ring dungeon, as Psykaitic documents, there will be three giant pots suspended on chains near the ceiling. These pots can be easily overlooked if players disregard community messages, which hint to their presence by vaguely informing players to use ranged attacks, or if the stress of racing down stretches of ramp before the chariot appears distracts them.

Players can then take careful aim with a bow and detach the pots from the chains. If timed correctly, the pot will land atop the chariot as it passes beneath and demolish it. The chariot's destruction rewards players with Elden Ring's Erdtree Greatbow, ten Great Arrows, and relatively relaxed traversal through the Fringefolk Hero's Grave for the remainder of their exploration. Of course, destroying the chariots with these well-timed pot traps is not necessary in order to navigate the area successfully, but it may rid players of anxiety.

Strategies like these will be in great supply as players continue to delve into the Lands Between for cryptic secrets to learn and hidden cheese to exploit. Elden Ring is an immense open-world game with many highly sought after rewards in all its darkest catacombs, let alone all the massive yet optional and obscure locations that players may not find on a first playthrough. If any players were still having trouble with the Fringefolk Hero's Grave, for example, they can hopefully find some relief with the strategy that Psykaitic has shared.
