The quickest way to farm the Set is to equip the Silver Tear Mask and Silver Scarab Talisman and make your way to the Small Private Altar Site of Grace. From here, go up the stairs to find a patrolling Horned Warrior you can defeat repeatedly.

The Armor Set weighs 25.1 in total and offers 47 Poise, which is relatively low. The Horned Warrior Helm increases Strength by five but reduces the healing from Flask of Crimson Tears.

Apart from the Helm, all the other set pieces provide no passive bonus.

The weapon also has a scaling with Faith, but Faith only buffs up the damage of the weapon skills. You can leave Faith around 25 if you plan to use the always-useful Golden Vow Incantation — or lower it if you don't.

This Incantation is used quite a lot by the Divine Bird Warriors and does ramping damage as long as you hold down the cast input. The Erdtree Heal Incantation is also solid if you have enough points in Faith; you can rely on this Incantation to heal over the Flask of Crimson Tears. This allows you to bring more FP Flasks and heal the allies around you, including your Spirit Ash.

Golden Vow and Flame, Grant me Strength both increase your damage output and damage negation for a short duration, making them valuable choices for almost any build.

Flame, Grant me Strength	This is found behind Fort Gael, guarded by two flame chariots. This Incantation boosts your physical and fire damage output by 20%, and the buff lasts 30 seconds.

When it comes to the Wondrous Flask of Physick, the Leaden Hardtear is the best choice purely because of the low Poise of the Armor Set. This, combined with the Bull-Goat Talisman, allows you to spam the Ash of War on the weapons without worrying about being interrupted. The second Crystal Tear should be Opaline Hardtear because this build is not that strong defensively and only has one defensive Talisman — it helps shore up this weakness.

For the Horned Warrior Build to work perfectly, you must alternate between the tools you have and be unpredictable. This is especially useful against online players who invade you and know the move set of the weapons. With the help of the Talisman and Crystal Tear, you will have enough poise to tank through attacks while casting the Ash of War on the Horned Warrior's Sword. The delayed horn eruption can confuse players and mess up their dodge timings.

The Divine Bird Feathers Incantation does not deal great damage, but it is present in this build to poke enemies while they're at a distance, forcing them to close the distance (this Incantation takes out quite a lot of Stamina very quickly, so make sure you leave enough to dodge attacks). In close-range combat, you can rely on the Greatsword's Ash of War — or devastating jumping attacks — to finish off your enemies.

While you can opt to have both the Horned Warrior weapons equipped, it's typically best to focus on only one weapon and master it.
