In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, one of the first dungeons you will come across is the Belurat Tower Settlement. This legacy dungeon serves as the home of hornsent, the inhabitants of the Shadow Realm who play a major role in Marika’s lore and her path to godhood. On the west side of Belurat, you will find the entrance to Belurat Gaol.
Belurat Gaol is a minor dungeon hidden beneath the Belurat Tower Settlement legacy dungeon. At the depths of Belurat Gaol, you will get to fight Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze, who drops 
Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh Spirit Ash. Other than this Spirit Ash, there are some other useful items found throughout the dungeon like Hefty Cracked Pots, Greater Potentate's Cookbook [11], and a Lost Ashes of War. Where To Find Belurat Gaol In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Belurat Gaol is located in Gravesite Plain, the starting region of Shadow of the Erdtree. After you have entered Gravesite Plain, follow the path going north to reach the Three-Path Cross site of grace just ahead of Scorched Ruins. From the Three-Path Cross site of grace, head north to find a Ghostflame Dragon resting on a lake. Continue on to the west of the lake to find the entrance leading down to Belurat Gaol.
Belurat Gaol Walkthrough In Shadow Of The Erdtree
After entering Belurat Gaol, go a little deeper into the cave to find the Belurat Gaol site of grace. From the site of grace, head west to dive deeper into this prison cave. As you leave through a door, you will reach a narrow ledge leading west.
Be careful of a Shadow Undead waiting to ambush you ahead. It will come running at you when you get close.
Continue on into the next room (after the Shadow Undead ambush) to find six Frozen Maggots. Leave the room and continue heading west and down the stairs, which will collapse into the ground. Don’t worry, as it won’t cause any fall damage.
After falling down, you will find three Shadow Undead and a room to the left. The room has two more Shadow Undead, and one of them will try to ambush you. Defeat them and collect the Silver Horn Tender from a corpse. Leave the room and go north using a narrow stony bridge with two Shadow Undead waiting on the far side. Collect four Frozen Maggots from a corpse on the right side of the cliff.
Next, head ahead to enter a room filled with jars and two Shadow Undead hiding. You can find a Frozen Maggot on the floor next to the second Shadow Undead. On the right side of the room's entrance, you will find a hole in the wall leading to the next section — you'll need to drop down. Jump through the hole to come across two rooms with more Shadow Undead. You can safely ignore them and instead head straight for the exit on the south. On the right side of the exit, you can find one Thawfrost Bolus.
Now, follow the path on the left to enter a room with a spirit who spills some lore about Shadow Jar innards. Ahead of this spirit is a room with an array of hanging jars over a deep pit. You'll want to use these hanging jars to safely descend, but before heading down, go east to find another room with a Jar Innards enemy and a Shadow Realm Rune [3].
Now, return to the room with hanging jars and fall down carefully to get down to the bottom.
One of the jars will have a corpse containing one Glass Shard.
On the way down, you can jump on the jar on the west to reach a wooden platform with one chest. Open this chest to find one Hefty Cracked Pot.
At the bottom, you will have to face a few Living Jars and Jar Innards. Head through the exit on the west to find a bridge. Follow the bridge to its end to find a set of stairs that will collapse and land you in a maze of jars.
Loot & Navigate The Maze Of Jars
This area has quite a few shadow spirits and Jar Innards hiding around the corners. However, don’t consider rushing through this maze as there are useful items such as 
Lost Ashes of War, Greater Potentate’s Cookbook [11], and two Hefty Cracked Pots.
Leave the jar maze by exiting through the eastern doorway. The next area has several more Jar Innards and Living Jars waiting for you. You will also find some Smithing Stones on the way. Continue heading south to find a set of broken pillars. Jump on them and drop down to reach the boss of Belurat Gaol.

How To Beat Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze
Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze is the final boss of the Belurat Gaol dungeon in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. He is a small-sized mini-boss with an incredibly fast moveset. He wields the newly added magic katana, the Star-Lined Sword. While he doesn’t drop this weapon, you can get the Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh Spirit Ash, who features the same attacks as his master.
Because of his size, Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze has low Poise, making him weak against heavy weapons. Even so, you shouldn’t underestimate Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze. If you haven’t leveled up your Shadow Tree Blessings a few times, this boss can be quite hard-hitting while being one of the very first bosses you face in the DLC. Swordmaster Onze is weak against all types of attacks, but he has exceptionally low resistance to Fire and Slash damage.
You can use katanas, curved swords, reapers, or any weapon with slash damage and infuse them with Fire/Flame to easily deal high damage to this boss.
You can also use strong Spirit Ashes to aid in the fight. Spirits with high Poise, like 
Omenkiller Rollo Ashes and 
Cleanrot Knight Finlay Ashes — or swift movement like 
Black Knife Tiche Ashes and 
Stormhawk Deenh Ashes— make for excellent Spirit Ashes for this fight. Group summons, like 
Greatshield Soldier Ashes, can also help you gang up on the Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze.

Belurat Gaol serves as one of the best spots for farming Frozen Maggots. While most Frozen Maggots are one-time pick-ups from corpses, you can find some lying on the ground as well.
