Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC adds an honestly absurd number of new weapons, armor, items, spells, and incantations to the game. In fact, there are a couple of new Aspects of the Crucible Incantations to be found in the Lands of Shadow. In particular, you can now find the Wings, Thorns, and Bloom Incantations.

Straight Sword fans received a few new additions with Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. But how do these new arrivals rank up in terms of efficiency?

The Bloom Incantation can be especially difficult to find, especially if you're not even sure of what general area it is found in. So, with that in mind, let's take a deeper look at this Aspects of the Crucible Incantation, its stats, its requirements, and where exactly it can be found in the Lands of Shadow of Elden Ring.

Creates a miranda flower on your chest that creates a rain of light beams after a short duration.

First off, let's go over what exactly this Incantation is overall. The Aspect of the Crucible Incantation, in general, typically gives you a new vestigial organ of some sort that you use for a brief attack before it disappears. The Aspect of Breath creates a flame sac, the Aspect of Horns creates a horn on your shoulders, and of course, the Tail Aspect creates a large and long tail. In comparison, the Bloom Aspect doesn't create the standard organic organ but rather creates a Miranda Flower bloom on your chest.

This Miranda Flower then uses the typical ability all the large Miranda Flowers use where they summon these motes of light around them that, shortly after, become damaging beams of light. Charging this Incantation before casting it increases the potency of it, which is also worth remembering. Overall, this Incantation has a relatively low Faith Requirement, a low FP cost, and only used one Memory Slot, and is incredibly useful in the right situation. Basically, you'll want to use this when you have a window to cast it and you know your enemy is approaching for close-range combat. Then, while they're attempting to attack you, the beams of light will absolutely shred through them.

Aspects of the Crucible: Breath Location Guide

Found in a Pretty Atypical Location

Now, as it turns out, the Aspects of the Crucible: Bloom Incantation isn't exactly 'difficult' to reach, but it is tough to find naturally. The video above goes over it in depth, but you'll essentially want to wait until you reach the Site of Grace outside the Church of the Bud in the Rauh Ruins. From this Grace:

  1. Either head back into the rot-infested area through the stairs, or (like us) jump onto the pagoda roof to the east for a bit of a shortcut.
  2. Take the elevator down a level, then head out and to your right.
  3. Once you're back outside, head to the cliff edge and look to your immediate left and you should see some stairs leading down.
  4. Take these stairs and ride straight down the path until you come until it ends right in front of this dome-shaped opening leading off the cliff.
  5. Walk up to the cliff, look down, and walk off to land on the rocks not far below.
  6. Get back on Torrent and ride to the East, either ignoring or taking out the flying Scorpionspiders along the way.
  7. Just past the Scorpionspiders, you should see a grouping of small Miranda Flowers surrounding on large Flower.
  8. Walk up to these Miranda Flowers and you should see a body on the ground in their grouping that holds the Aspects of the Crucible: Bloom on it.

You don't need to kill any of the enemies here to get this Incantation, you just have to walk up and grab it. Outside of some Materials and a Somber Smithing Stone [1], there's nothing else down here, so you can either Fast Travel back to any Site of Grace or head back to where you dropped down and take the elevator to reach an area just above where you originally dropped down that has one of those Pot-Holding Shades on it.
