The Smithing Talisman is a new Talisman in Shadow of the Erdtree that increases the damage dealt by thrown weapons. The Smithing Talisman weight is 0.2.

The Smithing Talisman specifically enhances the damage by 10%. The good thing about it is that it stacks with other damage-enhancing talismans, like the Two-Handed Sword. This gives it a much better synergy, making it viable for any build that comprises a throwable weapon. Whether the weapon is thrown using a skill or a charged attack doesn't matter, the same damage enhancement applies.

To get the Smithing Talisman in Shadow of the Erdtree, you must enter the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. From the entrance, go straight using the bridge and interact with the lever to open the gate below. From there, go forward through the narrow passage, and go right when you reach the large, empty chamber.

The player will have to go through another narrow passageway. A few steps before it opens up into another chamber, there will be a ladder leading up. Use it to reach another narrow passageway that leads into a lava-ridden chamber with some lava blobs and gem golems. Ignore the enemies and continue forward, using the rubble to climb up to the platform.

Follow the path from there, taking a right into another chamber, to reach a corpse holding the Smithing Talisman. Move immediately after picking it up, as a lava blob will jump onto you, dealing a lot of damage, or even killing a player without the sufficient vigor stats.
