Where To Get Serpent Flail In Elden Ring

To acquire the Serpent Flail, follow these steps:

  1. Fast travel to the Scadu Altus, West Site of Grace. This is located west of the Highroad Cross Site of Grace and north of the Fog Rift Fort.
  2. Upon arrival, look to your left, where you should see a fort below. You need to get down there.
  3. Jump to the rocks below, which should be to your right, near the abandoned campfire.
  4. Continue descending until you reach the top of one of the fort's towers.
  5. Descend the ladder, but instead of moving forward, look to your hard left and drop down onto the tarps below.
  6. You should see a chest near some red barrels. Open it to loot the Serpent Flail weapon.

A flail with coiled snakes for bludgeoning heads. Fire roars within the snakes' bodies, inflicting horrible burns. Some of Messmer's army used these flails to burn hornsent—to brand them with agony and fear.

The Serpent Flail primarily scales with Dexterity and Faith, making it a good option for players who prefer Faith builds. Its Ash of War, however, will only scale with Faith. The flail comes with a unique weapon skill called "Flare, O Serpent," which creates a fire that enhances flame attacks and causes an explosion whenever any attack hits the ground.

This skill can't be charged for extra damage or a bigger explosion. However, the Serpent Flail can be upgraded to +10 using Somber Smithing Stones.
