In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, a lot of new items and weapons have been added. Ashes of War have seen quite a lot of additions as well and there are quite many to collect in the vast areas in the Realm of Shadow. These Ashes of War are Weapon Skills that can be infused into a normal weapon without any unique Weapon Skill of its own.
Ash of War: Raging Beast is one of the new Ashes of War that players can acquire in Scadu Altus. The guide below includes all the details about the Ash of War as well as where Elden Ring players can get their hands on it.
Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree - How To Get Black Knight Commander Andreas Ashes
Black Knight Commander Andreas is one of the tankiest Spirit Ashes in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Here's where Elden Ring players can find it.
Ash of War: Raging Beast – Overview & Weapon Types
This Ash of War grants an armament the Keen affinity and the following skill:
"Raging Beast: Step with the swiftness of a beast, leap high, and slash foe from above. Initial step can be taken forward, backward, left, or right. Strong attack allows for a follow-up attack."
In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree,
Ash of War: Raging Beast is a new Ash of War that grants its equipped weapon the Keen affinity. This Ash of War can only be used on Beast Claws weapon type but not Red Bear's Claw as it has its own unique Weapon Skill.
When you use this Ash of War, it allows your character to leap up into the air and slash the enemy multiple times before stopping. The follow-up on this attack can add a few more slashes that can be used to finish off the enemy. This Ash of War can dish out a decent amount of damage and has iFrames, which makes it all the more useful. As this counts as a skill the Shard of Alexander also works to buff the overall damage of this Ash of War.
Ash of War: Raging Beast costs 7 FP to use and 7 FP to follow up with a Strong Attack. This Ash of War cannot be charged.
How To Get Ash of War: Spinning Gravity Thrust (& What It Does) in Elden Ring DLC
The Spinning Gravity Thrust Ash of War can be obtained by defeating Commander Gaius next to the Shadow Keep Back Gate in Shadow of the Erdtree.
Where To Find Ash of War: Raging Beast Location
To get
Ash of War: Raging Beast in the Elden Ring DLC, you must reach the Bridge Leading to the Village Site of Grace, which is located in Scadu Altus. Scadu Altus is the second main area of the game, and it can be accessed right after defeating Rellanna, Twin Moon Knight, in Castle Ensis. As soon as you reach the second area, start heading East, and you will come to the Moorth Ruins. From here, head southeast inside the underground caves, which lead you to the Bonny Village.
From the Bonny Village Site of Grace, start riding northeast across multiple bridges, and you will reach another Site of Grace. From this Grace, follow along the main road, and you will see a lot of wolves in the area. You can deal with them if you want as they have quite low health. On the right side of the road, right above the first hill, you will come across a glowing Scarab that teleports away when you are close to it. The best way to deal with it is to use a Greatbow or a Spell that can one-shot it from range. Kill it, and it will drop the Ash of War: Raging Beast.
