With the release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware has introduced a whole bunch of new items to the game, ranging from core items like weapons and armor all the way to cookbooks and consumables; there is no dearth of things to find in the new DLC.
One of the harder-to-find items is the Spellmachinist's Bell Bearing, which can be found in a secret section of the Rabbath Rise Tower north of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Reaching the item requires taking a circuitous route through the Shaman Village. Here's how to get there.
How to Get Jolan and Anna Spirit Ash in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
Jolan and Anna Spirit Ashes can be obtained by combining the Swordhand of Night Jolan with Anna's puppet in Rabbath Rise. Here's how.
Where to Find Spellmachinist's Bell Bearing Location
The Spellmachinist Bell Bearing can be found in a hidden area of the Rabbath Rise Tower in Scadu Altus. To get to this area, players will first have to reach the Shaman Village in Scaduview and then jump down to the Rabbath Rise balcony from above.
How to Reach Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace
Getting to the Scaduview requires first reaching the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace underneath Shadow Keep. To get to this area, start from the Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus. There is a small opening underground in these ruins that leads to Bonny Village.
North of Bonny Village, players will find the 'O Mother' gesture hidden behind some bushes (exact location shown above). Pick up the gesture and continue along the northeast wooden bridge leading to the Church District Highroad Site of Grace. The Rabbath Rise Tower is just north of here, but the Spellmachinist's Bell Bearing cannot be accessed from the main entrance.
Ignore the tower for now and continue along the road westward. This will lead to a tunnel that ends in the Church District Entrance Site of Grace in front of a flooded church.
Follow the path detailed in the screenshots above by jumping over the water to reach an elevator that leads you up to the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace. Use the ladder next to the Site of Grace to go further up. In the next room, go up the stairs to the right, and you'll find a hole in the wall behind the bookcase. Jump through it to find a path circling around the outside of the Storehouse with some more lifts. Use this to reach the Storehouse, Loft Site of Grace.
Use the elevator in front of the Site of Grace to climb to the rafters and then use the ladder to climb further up. You'll see a balcony on the other side of the room to jump down to. Use the rafters as a walkway to get there. Exit out the archway to the outside again and follow the wooden beam path to reach the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace.
How to Reach Rabbath Rise Tower (Top Section)
There will be a chamber to the right with a large Statue of Marika and an exit in front of you. The path in front leads to Commander Gaius' boss fight, while the room on the right has a hidden path leading to the Hinterlands and the Finger Ruins of Dheo.
Stand face to face with the Statue of Marika and perform the 'O Mother' gesture that was picked up in Bonny Village. The Statue will give way, revealing a path behind it leading to Scaduview and the Hinterlands Site of Grace. The path north is guarded by two
Tree Sentinel s. Avoid them for now and turn right, climbing up the hill to reach Shaman Village. Head to the easternmost section of the Village, and you'll see the Rabbath Rise Tower directly below. Climb down the ledges to get near the balcony of the tower that can be seen from above and then jump down.
Enter Rabbath Rise, and you'll see a puppet of Swordhand of Night Anna. Jump over the railing to land below, and you'll find the Spellmachinist's Bell Bearing next to you.
The Spellmachinist's Bell Bearing can be offered to the
Twin Maiden Husks at the
Roundtable Hold to add the Rabbath's Greatbolt to the shop's inventory for 800 Runes.
