With the massive increase in difficulty of the content in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, optimizing your build and managing resistances to counter each and every boss is more important than ever.
The Boltdrake Talisman +3 is the strongest variant of the Boltdrake Talismans, providing a big buff to lightning resistance, which is especially useful against bosses that deal primarily lightning damage like the Death Knight in Fog Rift Catacombs and one of the Jagged Peak Drakes. Here is how to get this Talisman.
Updated July 10, 2024, by Hamza Haq: Talismans have a huge impact on the viability of different builds in Elden Ring, and that hasn't changed in Shadow of the Erdtree. The monstrously difficult bosses calling the DLC their home force players to rethink their loadout after death. This is where resistance talismans like the Boltdrake, Flamedrake, and Pearldrake come in. SotE introduces the +3 variants of these Talismans, giving Tarnished with the means to resist the damage in all its forms.

Where To Find Boltdrake Talisman +3 Talisman Location
In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the Boltdrake Talisman +3 can be found in a hidden room of the Specimen Storehouse area in the Shadow Keep, to the right of the Storehouse, Fire Floor Site of Grace, hidden behind bookshelves.
After defeating The Golden Hippopotamus, progress further into the keep until you reach the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace. Face the large marble statue and turn right. You'll see a corpse with an item hunched over nearby. Walk up to the corpse, pick up the item (
Fireproof Pickled Liver), and look to your right. You'll notice a narrow path between the stone slabs lit by candles.
Follow the path and jump over the stone slabs until you reach a hidden room behind them. The Boltdrake Talisman +3 is on a corpse to the right, behind the large coffin in the middle of the room.
To leave, look for a lever on the opposite side of the room, to the left of the entrance. The bookcase next to the lever will give way, opening a path back to the Site of Grace and the main area of the Storehouse.
Alternative Route
It's also possible to reach the hidden room with the Boltdrake Talisman +3 from above by starting from the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace, turning around to the previous room, and vaulting over the balcony. This deposits players directly in the middle of the room with the Talisman, though they will need to activate the lever to get back out.
