Posted on social media, user Automatic-Job-9435 shared a few images of their Queen Marika cosplay with the soulslike fan base, achieving brilliant accuracy similar to another Elden Ring fan who shared a stunning Malenia phase two cosplay packed with exceptional detail. The gold-leaf design in the cosplayer’s dress, ancient accessories, and makeup all contribute to a realistic embodiment of Queen Marika, but fans couldn’t see past the character's misdoings from the game.

One Redditor asked the cosplayer point-blank why she abandoned three of her children, referring to the long list of Queen Marika’s most evil acts in Elden Ring, and another advised the cosplayer to go on a genocidal rampage through the entire nation to really capture the queen in their cosplay. Of course, these replies are said in jest and are rather a testament to the cosplayer’s accuracy in bringing the character to life.

Instead of Limgrave, Nightreign takes place in a procedurally generated version of the location known as Limveld, and the title is proving to be a successful evolution of the franchise since its May 2025 launch.
