GoodGameEthan recently shared a short clip that showcases this curious handicap, in which the gamer defeats the Draconic Tree Sentinel. According to GoodGameEthan, they started this challenge some days ago and have been fighting every boss using this method since then. At the moment, the gamer is not doing the rolls during non-boss fights, but they said in the post’s comments that if there’s enough demand from the community, they could possibly stream the whole game while doing this.

Trying out weirdly specific self-imposed challenges in Elden Ring is actually somewhat common in the game’s community. For example, a player used their goldfish to beat the first phase of Elden Ring’s Malenia some months ago. At the time, the gamer came up with a pretty unique idea, as they used their goldfish Tortellini to “play” the title inside an aquarium. As the fish swam between different quadrants of the tank, specific commands would be input in Elden Ring, which made for a random, yet entertaining challenge.
