Elden Ring Nightreign keeps the series traditions alive by sending players into a tutorial area where they can get familiar with some old and new game mechanics. The tutorial section is relatively straightforward, as players learn the new sprinting and wall-climbing mechanics. However, towards the end of the section, there's a surprise boss encounter waiting for you.

Although players will progress forward even if they die from the boss, those who successfully banish it will receive a special reward. So, even if you've passed the tutorial section, there's a way for you to replay it and have a crack at the boss once again. Here's how.

How To Replay Tutorial In Elden Ring Nightreign

For players who're looking to replay the tutorial for Elden Ring Nightreign, they'll need to access the Visual Codex inside Roundtable Hold. Simply head to the room where you'll find the Small Jar Bazaar in the corner. There's a desk in this room with the Visual Codex placed on top of it.

Open up the Codex menu and head inside the "Guide" section. Here, press the appropriate prompt to replay the tutorial section of Nightreign.

How To Beat Margit Tutorial Boss

Preparation

Once you re-enter the tutorial area, it's important that you first prepare your character for the boss fight at the end. To do that, you must take out all the enemies as you move along to accumulate Runes. They're all minions, so it should take two to three slashes from your sword to beat them.

After the wall climb tutorial, you'll reach a castle with a chest outside. There's a Great Axe inside the chest that can help players who prefer using heavy weapons against bosses. However, once you head through the castle's courtyard, there's a chest inside the room ahead that contains Lordsworn's Fire Straight Sword. This fire-enchanted weapon is perfect for dealing high DPS to the tutorial boss.

Before exiting the castle, make sure to loot the chest right before the Site of Grace to get some helpful consumables, including a Warming Stone. Now level up at the site of grace and get your AI companion up before entering the boss arena.

Margit The Fell Omen Boss Strategy

When you enter the arena, Margit falls on the runic symbol that spawns on the ground. As soon as the symbol spawns, quickly dash or dodge away from it. In most cases, the boss will target the AI companion first, allowing you to attack the Fell Omen from behind. The first thing you should do is get as close as you can and use Wylder's ultimate skill to stagger the boss.

After dealing a devastating blow, try to position the Warming Stone as close to your ally engaging Margit as you can to heal its HP. Meanwhile, you should focus on dealing damage to Margit. If your AI companion gets defeated, do not immediately try to revive it, as it'll take a lot of hits, and Margit will quickly close the gap between you and it.

Once the battle rages on, you'll get a prompt telling you to use the character's ultimate skill. It's a free refill, so make the best of it by using a charged blast on the tutorial boss to stagger it. Even if you end up dying once, you'll get a free respawn back to the arena but will have to deal with the Fell Omen solo. Keep dodging its magic daggers and strike Margit as soon as it finishes a combo.

As the boss is defeated, a chair/throne will spawn in the arena. Sitting on it will teleport players into the Roundtable Hold. From here, interact with the Relic Rites table to view the unique relic you've gained after defeating the Tutorial Boss in Elden Ring Nightreign. The relic is called Fell Omen Fetish, and it grants the following buffs.

  • Boosts attack power while switching weapons.
  • Increases throwing knife damage.
  • Increases Vigor by 1 point.
