How to Get Madness Affinity Weapons for Equilibrious Beast in Elden Ring Nightreign

Players can find out the weakness of the Equilibrious Beast Nightlord by checking out the affinity Icon next to its avatar in the expedition menu.

Madness weapons and spells are some of the hardest to find in Elden Ring Nightreign. However, finding them is worth it, considering how much they help in the fight in the Equilibrious Beast expedition. For starters, when you start the expedition, quickly open up your map and start checking every major location by zooming in. You'll spot small affinity icons in the bottom-right corner of POIs, which will indicate a high chance of procuring a madness-infused weapon or spell there.

Once you find a location with the Madness affinity Icon, mark it on your map and go there with your party. There will be some enemies and a field boss that you'll need to beat first, in order to secure the area and start looting. In most cases, the boss will drop a madness-based weapon or spell. So, this is another reason why you should take it down quickly.

In addition to the boss loot, make sure to check every chest, breakable boxes, and other loot sources to search for madness gear. Once you secure the gear, all you need to do is survive two nights to make your way to the Nightlord.

How Does the Madness Affinity Affect Libra?

Libra, Creature of the Night, will inflict madness damage to players via its attacks. However, it's ironic that the beast itself is weak against madness-affinity, so this is where your gear will be effective.

Attacking Libra with your madness-infused weapons will reduce its chances of launching madness-inducing spells onto the players. Instead, it'll be forced into a frenzied state where the beast will start pummeling its cane onto the ground, honing in on players. Since the madness spells are what make this boss fight difficult to manage, reducing their frequency will surely make this Nightlord easier to manage.
