In Elden Ring you can get many different crafting resources that can enhance your character's build, whether to make a consumable or a permanent addition to your loadout. One of these resources is the Gravel Stone, which is a pile of sharp stones that are not easy to get. This is because they appear in places where dragons exist or where they once were present, so you may have to deal with some fire-breathing monsters to get your hands on them. In this article, you will learn all the possible ways to get and use Gravel Stone.

Where to Find Gravel Stone in Elden Ring
As mentioned earlier, in the world of Elden Ring, you can find Gravel Stone in places where dragons once lived, or still do. One of these locations is Dragonbarrow. It is located in the southern part of Caelid. In this location, you can find many dragon remains and a few alive ones. Here, you can find a lot of sharp Gravel Stones. Also, to the south of the Divine Tower of Caelid, you can find a small lake. There will be several dragons and, in the middle of the lake, you will find a Gravel Stone.
Leyndell is also a great place to search. Here, you will find a large corpse of a dragon with many Gravel Stones on its wings. To give yourself the best chance of finding the Stones, you shouls explore the entire city, as this resource can be found everywhere there. Alternatively, if you don't want to collect the resources yourself, you can go west of Dragonbarrow and find a merchant who will gladly sell you a Gravel Stone for 2,000 runes.

How to Use Gravel Stone in Elden Ring
You can use Gravel Stone to create these two items:
- Dragonwound Grease
- Ancient Dragonbolt Pot
Dragonwound Grease is a lubricant used on your weapons and will add damage to your weapon against dragons. To create it, you will need 1 Root Resin, 1 Beast Blood, and 1 Gravel Stone. It lasts for 60 seconds and increases your damage by 30% against dragons and 20% against ancient dragons.
The other item, the Ancient Dragonbolt Pot, is a pot that you can throw at your enemies to deal lightning damage to them. It is a consumable item, so this will need to be used sparingly. To create it, you first need to make sure you have the Ancient Dragon Apostle's Cookbook, from which you will learn to craft the Ancient Dragonbolt Pot by combining 2 Mushroom, 1 Fulgurbloom, 1 Gravel Stone, and 1 Empty Ritual Pot.
Gravel Stone can become an integral part of your battles against dragons so, while you will have to risk battling the beasts themselves, the battles will become far easier with this resource at hand.
