Where To Find The Staff Of The Guilty in Elden Ring

To get the Staff Of The Guilty in Elden Ring, players need to find and defeat Thorn Sorcerer's enemies. These ordinary creatures are not the most powerful opponents and are found in several game locations. However, the chance of Staff Of The Guilty falling after a victory is only 2%, which is negligible considering the small concentrations of these creatures.

Many players will have to spend a lot of time challenging Thorn Sorcerers over and over again, but first, you need to choose a suitable place for farming:

The first place you should visit is around Fort Laiedd in the western part of the Altus Plateau. Take Seethewater Terminus Site of Grace as your starting point and head west towards the fort. Players can encounter about 5 Thorn Sorcerers while walking past the stockades near the castle. After killing everyone, just rest and try your luck again.
The second place is significantly south of the previous one in the Liurnia of the Lakes area. Take the Artist's Shack in the eastern part of the area as a starting point and go to the small grassy plateau a little north of this Site of Grace. Here, players can obtain Briars of Sin aberrant sorcery, but you can also encounter one Thorn Sorcerer.

If you can explore the open spaces around Fort Laiedd, you should focus on this location. The number of suitable enemies in this place is much higher, which will allow you to get the desired weapon a little faster.

It is worth noting that a 2% chance of dropping a weapon does not sound very good since you will have to defeat about 50 enemies to get what you want. However, you can slightly increase your chances of success by using the following methods:

Try to increase your Arcane stat.
Find and equip the Silver Tear Mask.
Use Silver Scarab.
Craft and use Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot consumable.

As we said earlier, Staff Of The Guilty is a good weapon if your build involves extensive use of Thorn Sorceries. One of the passive abilities of this weapon increases the damage from this type of spell by 20%, which can be extremely useful. In addition, this weapon can inflict the Bleeding status effect, but consider it a nice bonus. Eventually, Bleeding builds can find many items with higher rates of this effect.

It is worth noting that to use this weapon, players must meet the minimum requirements of 8 Strength and 12 Faith. As for damage scaling, it has D scaling in Strength and C in Faith, which is not bad. So, these weapons may find a place in your arsenal in the mid-game, but the late game will likely offer something more worthy.
