The world of Elden Ring is filled to the brim with unique weapons that can drastically alter your playstyle. Among them is the
Star Fist, known for its distinct appearance and formidable melee capabilities. This weapon offers substantial advantages, allowing players to inflict Hemorrhage status or strike damage. However, wielding the Star Fist demands both courage and an element of risk, on account of its extremely limited range.
Elden Ring: How to Get Vyke's Dragonbolt Incantation
Vyke's Dragonbolt Incantation in Elden Ring can be a good addition to your build. Here we will show you how to acquire it.
Another challenge posed by the Star Fist is acquiring it in the first place. Follow the guide below to make your journey to the weapon's location a breeze in Elden Ring.
Where To Find Star Fist In Elden Ring
You can add the Star Fist weapon to your melee build once you have reached Leyndell, the Royal Capital. The said area is situated to the east of the Atlus Plateau, which itself becomes accessible after activating the Grand Lift of Dectus.
To make the journey to the Star Fist a bit easier, you should head to the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace, which is located in Leyndell. Given that Leyndell is quite a large area, you might have to explore it a bit until you find it.
Elden Ring: Best Fist Weapons, Ranked
Fist weapons can be tremendous assets in Elden Ring if used right and these are the best of them all.
Once you have reached the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace, head south until you finally see the Colosseum. However, be careful as you will likely encounter the two Duelists that roam this area, by then you can either attempt to defeat them in battle or sneak past them using stealth. If the former approach is taken, then try to take them on one at a time, as trying to fight both of them simultaneously will guarantee you an early grave.
Once you have dealt with the two Duelists, your next task is to head to the southwest part of the Colosseum. You will notice a corpse in your path; loot it, and you will have the desired Star Fist Weapon in your inventory.
Alternatively, you can also find the Star Fist weapon in Leyndell, the Ashen Capital.
Star Fist Weapon Advantages
The Star Fist can be your go-to weapon if you like to get up close and personal, but it won’t do you much good if you prefer to keep some distance between yourself and your foe. The advantages the said weapon grants are:
- Endure Weapon Skill – When activated, the Endure Perk will reduce the damage taken by the player. Furthermore, it will also increase the player’s poise.
- Bloodloss Buildup: One of the main boons of the Star Fist is that it can cause Hemorrhage status buildup. Filling the status effect will apply damage to the enemy relative to its maximum HP.
- Alternative Damage: If the enemy you attack is immune to the Hemorrhage effect, then the weapon will apply strike damage to them.
The Star Fist weapon can be upgraded using both Smithing Stones and Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones. This melee-based weapon may require getting used to, as you must get quite close to your opponent. This might not be a good strategy against opponents that deal frequent and heavy close-range damage.
