Rose Church might not offer a valuable weapon or a top-notch armor set, but it is a crucial place to visit for those who want to complete White Mask Varre's questline, which is indeed one of the most rewarding side-quests in Elden Ring.

Where To Find Rose Church In Elden Ring

Rose Church is found in the Liurnia of the Lakes region, which is accessible after defeating Margit, the Fell Omen and Godrick the Grafted to progress through Stormveil Castle. The entire lake can be explored either on foot or on Torrent, with Torrent making the long walk to the church much more bearable. Players can either head northwest through the lake to find Rose Church or head directly west after finding the Academy Gate Town Site Of Grace. As you approach the church, White Mask Varré will be along the right of the entrance, and speaking to him will give the player Festering Bloody FIngers and begin his quest line.

What's In Rose Church

The main selling point for Rose Church will be White Mask Varre, as he offers a full quest line that also includes PVP elements for useful rewards. That being said, it is worthwhile to take a short trip into the church, but be sure to have some bleed resistance items.

Lesser Sanguine Noble

Approaching the center of the church will spawn a Lesser Sanguine Noble, which is not a field boss but still a challenging enemy for those unprepared. This enemy is able to parry you in combat and focuses on building up bleed. While most of his attacks will be straightforward, he does have one area of effect move that will leave a small circle that will continue to build up bleed if you stay within. Despite the difficult fight, this enemy will only drop runes.

Along the right side of the church will be loot that is the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [12]. This cookbook always you to craft Cursed-Blood Pot, which can be thrown at enemies to douse them in accursed blood. Being doused in this blood will make any nearby spirit ashes solely target that enemy, helping you control the NPCs in combat. Cursed-Blood Pots can be crafted using:
