How to Obtain Ash of War: Bloody Slash in Elden Ring

To obtain Ash of War: Bloody Slash, players will have to head to Fort Haight in the Southern region of Limgrave. At the fort, they will encounter a Godrick Knight wielding a sword and shield. Upon defeating it, players will receive the Ash of War: Bloody Slash as a reward.

Begin the journey by reaching Fort Haight West. To get there, head east from the First Step Site of Grace and continue the journey beyond the Dragon Burnt Ruins. After a bit more travel, players will reach Mistwood Outskirts. From there, head south to reach Fort Haight.

Players have two entry points into the fort: the front door or the back side, but neither provides an easy entry. The castle gates are guarded by a Pumpkin Head miniboss and a couple of regular knights. Consider taking on the knights first and then dealing with the Pumpkin Head. Once it is defeated, players will find the Golden Seed; collect it and enter the fort.

Upon entering the fort, players will encounter several regular enemies, so be ready for the fight. Players can eliminate them before going upstairs, where the formidable Beast Crest Heater Knight will be waiting for them. After players defeat this powerful Godrick Knight, he will drop the Ash of War: Bloody Slash. Retrieve it to add it to the inventory.
