Where To Find Blood Tax Ash of War in Elden Ring
You can find the Blood Tax Ash of War by eliminating a treasure scarab in a northeastern cave in the Moghwyn Palace. You can reach this location in two ways: acquire the Pureblood Knight’s Medal by completing a portion of White Mask Varre’s questline, or use the waygate in the Consecrated Snowfields.
Depending on what approach you take to reach Moghwyn’s Palace, you’ll start your hunt from two different Sites of Grace:
- Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance: If you use the Pureblood Knight’s Medal to reach Moghwyn’s Palace, you’ll need to ride northwest through the blood pool to find the cave with treasure scarab.
- Palace Approach Ledge-Road: If you used the waygate to reach Moghwyn’s Palace, you can ride a short distance north of Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace, and find the same cave to your east.
If you’re below level 90, the Moghwyn Palace can be an extremely challenging place to traverse, especially if you get caught up in a fight. The area is teeming with bloodborne Albanaurics, giant spectral skeletons, and giant crows.
However, if you’re quick enough, you can evade these enemies and collect the Blood Tax Ash of War from the treasure scarab.
