How Long Is Shadow Of The Erdtree's Main Quest?
- Just worrying about the main quests: Around 23 hours
The main questline within Shadow of the Erdtree takes most players about 23 hours to complete, depending on whether they rush through it or play it without rushing or worrying about completion time. However, this can depend entirely on playstyles, so players who are prone to wandering around the game's world may find that they are taking longer to finish the game, even if they only focus on the main questline. Additionally, depending on if players are playing on New Game Plus or no t may also play a role in how long it takes to complete the main quest.
How Long Does It Take To Complete The Main & Side Quests In SOTE?
- Focusing on all the quests in the DLC: Around 35 Hours
If you're one of those players who want to experience all the stories in the game but don't care too much about the exploration and trying to obtain everything, then it will take about 35 hours to complete the main quest and side quests. Again, this is dependent upon playstyles; if you rush through these quests, you may finish quicker, and if you take the time to stop and explore, it could be longer. Finally, your New Game Plus status can change this length of time as well.
How Long Does It Take to 100% Shadow Of The Erdtree?

One thing that some players like to do is to see and do everything that games offer them before they put them down. Shadow of the Erdtree added a whole host of new areas (players will enter into the Land of Shadow), quests, weapons, mechanics, upgrades, and so much more. With the addition of all this content comes the fact that obtaining 100% in the game will take a lot longer than just completing the main quest would. In fact, there are so many hidden areas in the game that players could spend countless hours trying to find them (like the area known as Charo's Hidden Grave). Again, this timing does vary depending on playstyles and New Game Plus. However, it seems to take around 45 hours to truly see everything that the DLC has to offer and reach that 100% completion.
