To maximize the damage output of the Lightning Perfume Bottle, you'll need to stack your buffs properly before entering a boss room. This simple buffing routine should be easy to remember and replicate before every boss fight:

Consume the Wondrous Flask of Physick to boost lightning damage.
Apply the Golden Vow incantation to boost damage output and negate damage to self.
Apply Flame, Grant Me Strength incantation to increase damage output.

The Rolling Sparks Ash of War travels in a straight line in front of the Tarnished, and it's very effective against stationary or slow-moving enemies. You may find it challenging to consistently land this skill on horseback enemies, such as the Tree Sentinels or Night's Cavalry. Moreover, enemies that tend to have larger hitboxes suffer great damage when the full weapon skill connects.

The Rolling Sparks Ash of War has a brief charge-up phase followed by a spray. If you're close to an enemy, you'll also deal some damage during the charge-up phase.
