Before Elden Ring players can play the DLC, they have to beat Starscourge Radahn. Radahn is a boss that many Elden Ring players end up fighting anyway, as the Sites of Grace lead right to him. However, he is technically an optional boss and does not need to be defeated for one to beat the game. Because of this, it's entirely possible that Elden Ring players have not defeated Radahn on their saves. So, anyone booting up their Elden Ring save to double-check that they have Mohg defeated will also want to see if they've bested Radahn on their current save file.

Where to Find Radahn in Elden Ring

Elden Ring players that have managed to defeat Mohg should have a fairly easy time fighting Radahn, as he is meant to be fought significantly earlier in any given playthrough. A portal at Redmane Castle in Caelid will teleport players to the battleground where they fight Radahn, but they first must activate the Festival of Radahn. Players can accomplish this by going through the steps in Ranni's questline, or they can do it by activating a Site of Grace in the Atlus Plateau.

Fighting Radahn in Elden Ring can be a tall order for newer players, but as previously mentioned, it shouldn't be too difficult for anyone who has managed to progress far enough to beat Mohg. Once Radahn and Mohg have both been defeated, Elden Ring players can jump into the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and start a fresh adventure in the Lands Between.
