March 22 Is Going To Be A Great Day For One Piece Fans
March 22 will be a major day for One Piece. A special event will be held.
This dream is finally a reality now, as a collaboration is revealed between One Piece and LEGO.
One Piece’s Collaboration With Lego
The One Piece Live Action is Getting LEGO sets
Recently, it was revealed in a small teaser that One Piece is finally collaborating with LEGO, to create One Piece themed sets.
LEGO isn’t exactly known for making anime-themed sets, so One Piece getting a set is out of nowhere.
It’s important to note, however, that the LEGO sets are for the One Piece Live Action, most likely in an advertisement for Season 2 of the show. This means that the designs will be based on the Live Action series, instead of the One Piece manga or anime. The LEGO characters will be modeled to resemble the actors most likely, instead of Oda’s characters.

Oda’s Comment on the LEGO Collaboration
Concerning this recent collaboration with LEGO, the mangaka of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, had a message to fans.
Here’s Oda’s exciting message:
“LEGO sets are coming!!!
Even now, I have dozens of LEGO boxes piled up at my workplace that I haven’t had time to dig into. There’s no cooler toy out there!! For 25 years since the anime started, I’ve been asking for a Lego toy, and finally, my dream is being fulfilled with a live-action collection! Thank you, to the LEGO group! Woohoo! You can bet I’ll be building and displaying them!”
Clearly, Oda is a huge fan of LEGO and has been waiting for quite some time for One Piece to finally receive a LEGO collection.
Since the LEGO sets were made for the Live Action, they will likely cover characters and locations seen in Season 1 and mostly Season 2. This means islands in the East Blue and the Arabasta Saga will be getting their own Lego sets.
When will The Lego Sets Be Released?
For now, it’s unknown when these LEGO sets will be released, but likely this year, and before the drop of Season 2 of the One Piece Live Action drops.
