How to Spin
The first step in a spinning strike of any kind is the spin itself. You can spin at any moment while standing during a fight. Doing so without adding a strike will act as a feint to keep your opponent on their heels. Press the button combinations below to spin.
- PS5 - Rear Spin: X + O, Lead Spin: L1 + X + O
- Xbox - Rear Spin: A + B, Lead Spin: LB + A + B
The rear spin will pivot on your fighter's rear foot so they are throwing the strike with their dominant side. A lead spin will pivot the other direction, so the strike is with your fighter's lead hand/leg.
How to Throw Spinning Backfists & Kicks
Once you've got your fighter spinning, you'll need to follow up with another button to throw a strike. As soon as you have initiated a spinning move, immediately press a face button to throw a strike. These will differ greatly depending on the fighter you're currently using. Don't expect a wrestler to throw jumping spinning kicks.
