Before players make their way to the bright lights of the NFL, they can first take to the field and represent their school. However, they will first need to earn the trust of the coaching staff, or they'll spend their collegiate career as a backup. With this in mind, there are a few basic tasks players can complete to raise Coach Trust levels in College Football 25's Road To Glory mode.

What Is Coach Trust in College Football 25?
Coach Trust is an important facet of the Road To Glory career experience in College Football 25, as it determines just how much influence you have over the strategic decisions of the team, as well as your very place in the squad. A high Coach Trust will get you decision-making privileges, whereas a low Coach Trust will have you benched or even removed from the squad. Whether you're a Quarterback, Tight End, or even a Wide Receiver, having a say about what plays are utilized can be a big part of your team's journey towards a championship and your quest to be one of the best collegiate players in the country.
There are a number of game features in Road To Glory mode that are opened up to players as they build up the trust with their coaches. Not only does high Coach Trust strengthen your job security, but it ranks you above your teammates in the same position and gets you in the starting side. Additionally, one of the other big perks to being trusted by your coach is that you have the option to change the playcall prior to the next play. The number of times you can do this each game is capped, but it will increase as your Coach Trust increases.
How To Get Coach Trust Fast in Road To Glory
Given how influential high Coach Trust is in your Road To Glory experience, players would benefit from knowing just how they can build this up as soon as possible. If your Coach Trust is low, you don't get fielded, and your team's success, or lack thereof, is completely out of your hands. As such, following these steps will get you on the field and making an impact as soon as possible.
- Complete positive actions during games, such as completing passes, attempting blocks, and scoring touchdowns. While these improve Coach Trust levels, performing negative actions, such as incomplete passes, fumbles, or interceptions, will lower Trust levels.
- Perform well in training exercises, the higher your scoring tier, the greater the Coach Trust boost. You can do this by going to the Practice section of the Road To Glory hub, and completing one of the training drills each week. If you are performing poorly in a drill, you can always restart it and try again without any penalties or consequences for doing so.
- Raise your GPA and Leadership rating - this will grant you a passive bonus to Coach Trust each week. You can do this by spending Energy on both areas in the Weekly Agenda.
Coach Trust is essentially the most important part of Road To Glory, because without it, you are basically in training and simulating games throughout the entire season. By completing the above objectives, you put the fate of your favorite college team in your own hands.
