While College Football 25 is only available on consoles, the game is crossplay compatible, so you won't be restricted to only playing friends on the same console. With this in mind, there are two ways you can connect with your friends in the game, depending on whether you're playing on the same console or not.

If you both have the same console, players can simply go to the Game Modes section of the main menu and select Play A Friend, which will prompt you to select your friend from your console friend's list. This is an unranked match, and once you select the person you wish to play with, you can send them an invite to join you in a match. If you really want to make it tough for your friend, then playing as the home team in a rivalry match will earn you the Stadium Pulse bonus.

If you are looking to crossplay or don't have your desired friend on your console's friends list, there is also the option to go to the EA Connect menu. To get there, you'll need to hit the indicated button in the bottom right corner of the main menu, which will have the party symbol and a number to indicate how many of your friends are online. For PlayStation users, this button will be the touchpad. Once in this menu, players can scroll to the Game Invites menu if they have been sent one by a friend, or they can search for the player by going to Player Search and typing in their EA Connect ID. If they don't know theirs, you can give them yours, as it is displayed in the Player Search menu, and get to celebrating your many touchdowns against your mates sooner rather than later.
