EA Sports College Football 25 offers players the opportunity to take control of their favorite collegiate level team and chase national championship glory for the first time in over a decade. The title offers a deep football experience that allows you to truly tackle all facets of life on and off the gridiron, from coaching and recruitment to balancing studies and training as an athlete and college student.

While there is plenty of excitement in putting together a flawless sequence of offensive strategy, some players find themselves less engaged when playing defense. This is largely due to the fact that the player you control may not necessarily be involved in the play, so you can find yourself conceding first downs without much say in the matter. This can, however, be avoided if you have knowledge about how to simulate defense and play only offense in College Football 25.

How To Simulate Defense in College Football 25

While EA Sports College Football 25 offers a wealth of exciting game features, players who don't necessarily consider themselves die-hard fans of the sport or games like Madden may not enjoy playing defense as much as they do offense. Given how many different ways the offense can be run, the player you're in control of may not even be near the action by the time the quarterback parts ways with the ball. Thankfully, if you find yourself willing the defensive passages to end quickly so you can get back to running plays as an offensive coordinator, you are able to simulate defensive possessions until you get the ball back.

To simulate defense, players will need to click the left stick from the play selection screen in between downs, which will open the Super Sim menu. From this menu, you will be given a number of options, including simulating the full game, jumping to key moments, or playing only offense or defense. To skip defense and play only offense, you simply need to open the Play Options menu and select "Play All Offense". From there, all defensive possessions will be simulated, and you will be brought back in when your team next has the ball. If you change your mind, however, you have the option to cancel this each time a defensive possession has ended.

Since you are simulating the defensive part of a match, expect that your team may concede points while you are not active.
