EA Play subscribers should note that there are at least two games leaving the service in February 2025. EA Pla y is EA's very own subscription service, giving subscribers access to free game trials, entire games, and various other benefits. EA Play is available as a standalone subscription, but it also comes bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
One of the main benefits of an EA Play subscription is access to a wide variety of games from the publisher. The EA Play library is a mix of older games and newer titles, giving subscribers plenty of options. But like similar subscription services, there are times when games are removed from the EA Play lineup. Sadly, that's exactly what's happening with at least two games in February 2025.

According to EA, two games will be removed from the EA Play lineup in February 2025. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15, while F1 22 will be removed on February 28. Now, it should be stressed that these games are not shutting down their online multiplayer features just yet. They are simply being removed from the EA Play lineup, though online shutdowns will inevitably follow at some point down the line. Needless to say, EA Play subscribers should get their fill of Madden NFL 23 and F1 22 while they still can.
List of Games Leaving EA Play Soon
- Madden NFL 23 - February 15
- F1 22 - February 28
Madden NFL 23 and F1 22 leaving the EA Play lineup isn't the only bad news for EA fans in February 2025. It's also been confirmed that UFC 3's online is shutting down on February 17. It's unclear if the game will still be available to play through EA Play, but regardless, it will lose many of its most important features on that day. Considering this, EA Play subscribers may want to prioritize UFC 3 as well.
While these EA published games shutting down and leaving the EA Play lineup is definitely disappointing for fans, the good news is that there are still newer entries in their respective franchises that are available on the service. EA Play subscribers will still have access to Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 after February is over, and in fact, UFC 5 is joining the lineup on January 14. So, while it's always a bummer when games are removed from subscription services, the fact that newer versions of these titles exist should help soften the blow a bit.
