Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators are key crafting components required for fabricating end-game vehicle parts and placeables in Dune: Awakening. Finding these materials is not easy as they can only be picked in very specific high-level areas around the map.
Since these items are guarded by powerful enemies, players will need late-game weapons and defensive gear to survive the exploration. Here's where to look.
How to Get Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators in Dune: Awakening
Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators can only be found in three locations in the Hagga Basin. They are:
- Edge of Achron (Sheol)
- The Beast's Claw (Mysa Tarill)
- The Aegis (Western Shield Wall)
All of the areas mentioned above are PvP zones where you can get killed by other players. Be very careful as you approach.
Edge of Achron (Sheol)
Edge of Achron is a large black Harkonnen fortress found in the northern part of Sheol, the westernmost region. It's located northeast of the Wreck of the Ourea (Aft), right in the middle of the Radiation Zone. As this area is highly radioactive, wear a Radiation Suit Mk4 or above to counter the radiation.
The Beast's Claw (Mysa Tarill)
The Beast's Claw is another black fortress, just like the Edge of Achron. However, this one is found built at the top of the mountain range west of Mysa Tarill. Unlike the previous location, there is no Radiation here, which makes it easier to explore. There are multiple chests with a chance to contain Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators here.
The Aegis (Western Shield Wall)
Directly north of Sentinel City, the Aegis is an Atreides base right at the border of the Western Shield Wall and Eastern Shield Wall. This area is a bit larger in size compared to the two mentioned previously and contains more chests with Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators.
The recommended gear level for the aforementioned zones is Duraluminum tier or above.
Where to Buy Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators in Dune: Awakening
There are two merchants who have Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators for sale in Dune: Awakening. They are:
- Zoe (Crossroads Tradepost): Crossroads Tradepost is just east of Mysa Tarill. Inside, you'll find Zoe selling both Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators for 3,500 Solaris each. She only has 15 of each component in stock. Merchant inventories are restocked every 24 hours.
- Kahraman Reis (Harko Village): Kahraman's shop is found in the northern part of Harko Village. His pricing and stock are the same as Zoe's.
You can also sometimes find Hydraulic Pistons and Military Power Regulators for sale at the Exchange (player trade) in Harko Village or Arrakeen. However, this is rare as most players prefer to hoard items for a rainy day rather than sell them.
