Dune: Awakening stays true to the rich lore of the Dune universe, but brings in survival mechanics with a large-scale MMO experience. It is set on Frank Herbert's iconic desert planet, Arrakis, but in an alternate timeline where Paul Atreides was never born and the Fremen have mysteriously vanished. Players must survive the planet's harsh environment, managing thirst and finding shelter from deadly sandworms and Coriolis storms.
To celebrate the launch of Dune: Awakening, Funcom has partnered with Twitch to give players an extra boost with free Observer building pieces via Twitch Drops. Read on to learn how you can claim your Dune: Awakening Twitch Drops before the time runs out.
How To Get Dune: Awakening Twitch Drops
The current Twitch Drops for Dune: Awakening are active from June 5th to June 24th, 2025, and offer three special items to help you get started with building your base. These items unlock extra building options at the very beginning of the game, helping you set up your base exactly how you want it from the get-go.
Before you can claim your Twitch Drops, you need to link your Steam and Twitch accounts to your Dune account. For this, you’ll need to go to the official Dune: Awakening website. On this page, click on the "Login With Steam" button, and follow the prompts to connect your accounts.
Once that’s done, you need to look for streamers playing Dune: Awakening on Twitch. Make sure to check for the "Drops Enabled" tag under their stream title. Many streamers will also mention it in their stream title or chat.
After you've watched a participating stream for the required time, you'll need to claim your rewards. You'll usually get a notification on Twitch about the earned drop. Then, go back to the Twitch Drops Campaigns page and click on "Inventory" at the top. From there, you can claim your hard-earned drops.
It can sometimes take a few hours for the claimed drops to appear in your game.
