Dragon's Dogma 2 has been out for just over a year, and it's already fallen to an incredibly low price on Amazon. The long-awaited sequel to Capcom's more niche 2012 RPG, Dragon's Dogma 2 was released last year and became one of the biggest RPGs of 2024, earning Metacritic scores in the high 80s and a Best RPG nomination at The Game Awards. By this time last year, Dragon's Dogma 2 was already closing in on three million total sales.

For Capcom fans who've been holding out for Dragon's Dogma 2's price to fall, now might be the time to pounce, as the fantasy RPG sequel is currently available on Amazon for just $27.99, a dramatic drop from its original $70 price tag. The deal is only for the physical version of the game and is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S gamers. It's not noted how long the deal will remain live, but both Xbox and PlayStation copies are marked with a "Limited-Time Deal" tag, so interested gamers should act fast.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is $28 on Amazon for a Limited Time

Since Dragon's Dogma 2 isn't a live service game, it makes sense that Capcom has halted support for the title with the exception of a few minor bug-squashing patches and a PlayStation 5 Pro support update. Seeing that many of Capcom's major titles receive some form of DLC, including the original Dragon's Dogma, fans have been expecting the publisher to come out with a reveal of Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC, though nothing has been confirmed to this point. Snagging Dragon's Dogma 2 now at $28 would ultimately help buyers in the long-run, as potential Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC likely won't be free. Taking advantage of this Amazon deal could mean that fans might be able to score the full game and all of its potential DLCs for less than the game's original asking price of $70.

Looking ahead, Capcom is positioned to have a super-strong next few years, as its Okami sequel and new Onimusha entry named Way of the Sword are both in the pipeline. Additionally, many feel that it's high-time for the next mainline Resident Evil game, and some speculate it could even be revealed at some point this year. Capcom fans should stay glued to the publisher's social media for any news on these future titles, as well as for potential Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC news.
