Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a true RPG that will use every resource and material the player can gather to reward them with powerful equipment. Often, the name and description of the resource will hint towards the enemy type from which the material can be gathered. However, some materials can be hard to find due to their low drop rate or the insufficient context surrounding them.
One such material is the 
Blackened Horn, which players will need to enhance most weapons and armor to level 3, the maximum level achievable without using Wyrmslife Crystals. Where To Find Blackened Horn In Dragon's Dogma 2
Blackened Horn is a potential item drop from a special variation of the Minotaur, the Goreminotaur. This is reiterated in the item description, which states that the Blackened Horn is "the severed horn of a Goreminotaur," so players must seek out this beastly creature if they hope to acquire it. The item cannot be purchased from any vendor, nor can it be collected as a drop from any treasure chest, so the player must take the fight to the Goreminotaur.
The Goreminotaur, in appearance, is more rugged and gnarly, with chains, torn clothing, and red eyes to distinguish itself from the Minotaur. In battle, it is more aggressive and can cover distances quickly. The best way to deal with a Goreminotaur is to target its head and horns and exploit its weakness by using fire-based attacks. Some Vocations might be better suited to fight this boss than compared to others.
Although much rarer than its standard Minotaur version, the Goreminotaur will still spawn in multiple locations across the map. Since it is possible that players may not obtain the Blackened Horn on their first attempt at defeating the Goreminotaur, it is useful to keep in mind more than one location. Alternatively, players can head to the same location after 3 days of rest so that the Goreminotaur respawns.
After reaching Battahl, there are two particular locations in the southwest of the region that you can explore where the Goreminotaur will spawn. The first is in Digger’s Ruins, and the other is in Sandspire Den. Finally, there is also another location that houses the Goreminotaur in the Mountain Base Cave, southwest of Volcanic Island Camp.
The Goreminotaur also has random occurrences in different parts of the map. For instance, in our post-game playthrough of DD2, a Goreminotaur spawned in the area just east of Volcanic Island Camp on the way to the Excavation Site.

How To Duplicate Blackened Horn In Dragon's Dogma 2
Players who want to simplify the process and cut down the effort of beating countless Goreminotaurs to obtain a sufficient number of Blackened Horns to enhance their gear can try duplicating this material at Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town. This is the same shop you can visit if you want to restore lost quest items in Dragon's Dogma 2.
Simply take the Blackened Horns in possession and ask Ibrahim to forge the item. Rest two days at the nearest inn or bench, then return to Ibrahim to collect the forged Blackened Horns, which cannot be told apart in any aspect.
