Materials that can enhance weapons and armor are quite common in RPGs. Dragon's Dogma 2 also includes a ton of enhancement materials players can find either hidden in caves, or dropped from certain enemies or bosses. A lot of items in the game, including Quest items and materials, can be duplicated in exchange for Gold, allowing a quest to turn out differently and reducing the need to farm enemies.

Pointed Fangs are one of the enhancement materials that players will be farming for. As most of the late-game armor pieces require this item to enhance to a higher level, this item becomes a necessity.

Where To Acquire Pointed Fangs In Dragon's Dogma 2

The Pointed Fang is one of the few enhancement materials that are quite rare in the base game. Its description states that it is a fang pulled from a Warg's jaw. This indicates that the players must hunt down Wargs in order to get the material. However, there are not many Wargs in the main game. After fighting the final boss and proceeding with the true ending, you will once again be able to explore the world. This time, there will be more and newer enemies, especially more Wargs, allowing you to farm Pointed Fangs through them. One of the base game locations of Wargs is on the north of the Volcanic Island Camp on the shore near the giant bridge.

Upon first arriving here, you will find a Drake fighting multiple Wargs. These enemies do not have a health bar like the Drake, but are quite tanky and can take a lot of hits before going down. There is a chance that they will be focused on the Drake, leaving you to deal with both of them for some free XP and enhancement materials.

Forging At The Scrap Store

After acquiring Pointed Fangs, if you want to farm them further, there are multiple ways to do that. The first option is to rest and pass the time for approximately seven days, and the Wargs will respawn. You can head over to their location and try your luck on getting them to drop the materials again.

Multiple players have reported the Wargs being potentially bugged and not respawning at all.

Another method that you might already know of is duplicating the material through Forgery. To do this, make your way to Ibrahim's Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town. Here, Ibrahim will take 1152 Gold in exchange for duplicating the Pointed Fang. Each duplication process takes two days, so you will have to pass the time on the nearby bench.
