Dragon Quest Treasures players who preordered the game or got the Deluxe Edition might be wondering just how they can get all the free stuff that came with their purchase. Depending on when, how, and where players bought their games, they will need to take different measures in order to make sure that those sweet bonus items are in their inventories as soon as they boot up this title for the first time. But each place players could have pre-ordered this prequel to the old-school RPG Dragon Quest XI from have different ways of getting these bonus items.
What is Included with Dragon Quest Treasures
There are two different editions of Dragon Quest Treasures. Both include the full game, but then the Deluxe edition will include several other items as well. All of these items will be available as soon as the game drops at midnight Eastern Standard Time on 12/9/2022 before players dive into the 30-plus hours of Dragon Quest Treasures.
The Standard Edition
- The full Dragon Quest Treasures game.
If players pre-ordered Dragon Quest Treasures, they will also get:
- 5 Chimaera Wings - This item brings the play back to their home base without losing any treasures.
- 15 Better Buddy Bullet - Increases the chance that monsters will want to join the player's party.
- 15 Fullheal Pellet - This item can be used to fully heal a player.
The Digital Deluxe Edition
- The full Dragon Quest Treasures game.
- A Great Sabrecat - A Monster Ally
- A Ruby Golem - A Monster Ally
- An Icy Dragling - A Monster Ally
- 25 Bestest Buddy Bullet - Increases the chance that monsters will want to join the player's party.
- 25 Omniheal Bomb - This AOE heals everyone in an area.
If players pre-ordered the story of Erik and the awesome Dragon Quest female character Mia, they will also get:
- 5 Chimaera Wings - This item brings the play back to their home base without losing any treasures.
- 15 Better Buddy Bullet - Increases the chance that monsters will want to join the player's party.

How to Get The Pre-Order and Other Bonuses
There are three places players could have pre-ordered this Switch-exclusive game. Each will have slightly different ways to get the bonus content.
- EShop - If players preordered either version from the eShop, the extras will be downloaded automatically with the game.
- Square Enix Store - Digital or Physical - If players ordered a copy from Square, they will receive a code with the invoice; this code can be put in the "Redeem Code" section of the eShop.
- Amazon - Digital or Physical - If players ordered a digital copy from Amazon, they will receive a code with the invoice; this code can be put in the "Redeem Code" section of the eShop.
The items will not become available in the game until players have finished the tutorial.
