How To Increase Stats in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined
In Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, there's a way to permanently increase the stats of characters. Here's the secret to becoming real powerful in DQ7.
Best Methods To Level Up Fast in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined
To level up faster in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, players need to assemble a full party of four, and look for the elusive Metal Slime. This nasty little creature only appears in certain zones of the map, and if players are not careful enough, they will run away even before they can land a decent hit on them.
So, let's get this started with a few tips on how to use Metal Slime farming to level up faster in DQ7 Reimagined:
- Metal Slimes grant an absurd amount of XP, which can be rounded up to 10 times the average level 20 monster (2100 XP).
- Metal Slimes can be found on the outskirts of the Roamer Encampment Region (in the Past).
- They will appear alongside other enemies like Saber Cubs, and will flee as soon as they have a chance.
- Quick wins won't count; players need to face them and beat them in combat to earn their enormous XP bonus.
- Normal attacks won't do damage to them, players need to land several hits (multi-attacks like Multi Slash) or a critical hit to kill them.
With those things in mind, let's get into the specifics of Metal Slime hunting and how to level up fast in DQ7 Reimagined. As mentioned before, Metal Slimes won't show up in the map, but instead, will pop up alongside other enemies in the overworld when triggering a direct combat (aka, bumping into them) or using Ruff's Whistle ability (provokes combats against monsters from the zone).
The best way to find and defeat these slippery Slimes, is to whistle with Ruff, and wait for them to spawn alongside other monsters. Then, focus all attacks on them, preferably, multi-hits that can quickly deal with them. They don't have too much HP, but all attacks cause only '1' damage on them, except for critical hits that will most likely take them down in one hit.
Once players have reached a certain threshold (level 30), leveling up with this method becomes less effective, but still possible, since Metal Slimes will keep yielding tons of XP.
When players unlock the Moonlighting Vocation combination and are able to equip more than one Job at the same time, they will also be able to deal with Metal Slimes faster, maximizing XP gains and leveling up their Vocations and characters with considerable speed.
It is also worth noting that Metal Slimes are easier to kill when spawning in groups by using AoE spells or Abilities.
