Gold is one of the most useful things to have in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined since it opens the doors to new equipment and allows players to always stay in top shape by resting at the Inns. With each new Island discovered, items get better at the Weapon and Equipment shops, but more expensive, so there's never enough money to spend.
However, this guide will teach players a simple method to get a lot of money really fast. From quick tips on how to maximize gains after battle, to the best possible zones to farm gold earlier during the adventure, so players won't have to worry about running short in the mid or late game stages.
Best Gold Farming Methods in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined
There are three farming methods for Gold in Dragon Quest 7, or at least, these are the most efficient ones:
- Farming near an Angel Statue with Full Speed Auto Combat
- Item Farming and Selling to Traders
- Spamming Quick Battles
For the first method, players need to search for a location where enemies spawn near an Angel Statue. There are various places like this, one is the Golem Tower at Ballymolloy, and the other is the Burnmount zone, which is accessible once players reach Emberdale.
Both locations have an easy-to-access Angel Statue, and Burnmount is especially good since it has two statues at each end of the farming route, so it's the most efficient place to get loads of Gold early on. For the next section, we will focus on this farming route:

Getting Started
This basic farming route can be done as early as players unlock the first Red Tablet World/Island, which will take them to Emberdale while they attempt to stop a volcanic eruption that would destroy everything in its wake.
Once players finish the Story Quest in Emberdale and go back to their current timeline (Estard), they can return via Ship, and discover that Burnmount is still there, and the farming route is open for them to get loads of gold.
So, travel to the entrance of Burnmount, and head to the Summit of the Volcano (Let's call it Point A). Then, jump inside (don't worry, as the party won't die). Instead, they'll land on the first platform players need to farm. The game is on!
Make sure to arrange the following settings for Auto-Combat to achieve maximum farming efficiency:
- Tactics = No Mercy
- Combat Speed= Ultra
Best Gold Farming Route in DQ7 Early Game
Starting at the first platform of Burnmout Volcano Cave (first area below Point A), players must trigger a combat. Now, just go ahead and bonk every enemy on the path until clearing the platform.
With that out of the way, head to the hole in the middle and jump again. Repeat the process until reaching the lower level (Point B), which has an Angel Statue (to heal and save the game) waiting to replenish the Character's Health.
Kill all enemies in the area, heal with the Statue, then head to the hole in the northeastern corner of this area. Jump inside to reach the exit route. Once players climb back to the
Now, climbing back up, repeat the process: Whack enemies, killing those weaker than the party, or using auto combat to slay them fast. It's really simple and easy to get 1500 to 1900 per run this way.
On the top floor of the cavern, reach for the Angel Statue in the entrance to heal, then go outside, and players will be back to Point, and can repeat the process until they get the amount of Gold they need.

This process might also raise the Character's Levels until they break through the average zone level, which means that every combat they start with preemptive strikes will be immediately won. This might reduce the speed required to farm the gold, but will also greatly reduce the amount of gold earned per run.
Item Farming and Selling to Traders in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined
The next logical step is to sell all the excess items and equipment that players do not use to traders. This will report an extra yield of gold every time they drop at one of the cities in the game.
There are four ways to obtain items in DQ7 Reimagined:
- Loot from the Floor (Sparkly Treasure)
- Loot from Chests
- Loot from Enemy Drops after combat
- Loot from Yellow Cabinets and Drawers
Players will fill their pockets with tons of spare items (Rags, Cypress Sticks, and other Low tier Equipment) while defeating foes or opening chests. They need to sell all surplus to earn even more gold.
