Across the entire Dragon Ball franchise, and the anime industry in general, there is no attack as iconic as the Kamehameha. For decades now, Goku and some of his friends have been using this blue energy beam to face many powerful enemies and often even defeat them in battle.

However, despite its icon status and undeniable power, there are some techniques in the series that are even more powerful and belong to characters who are just as strong, or stronger, than Goku himself. So, in this article, let's take a look at the attacks in Dragon Ball that are far more powerful than the Kamehameha.

5 Dragon Ball Characters Who Really Don’t Deserve The Hate

Do Dragon Ball fans hate on these characters too much?

The Final Flash Requires A Massive Charge Time

Users: Vegeta, Future Trunks

  • As the ultimate technique in Vegeta's arsenal, the Final Flash is a massive and incredibly powerful Ki attack that takes all of Vegeta's energy and unloads it in a huge beam that erases everything in front of it. When he used it for the first time against Cell, the beam could be seen from space and even shot through Earth, almost entirely disintegrating Perfect Cell in the process.

The most impressive part about the Final Flash is that it can do immense damage to opponents far stronger than Vegeta, as could be seen with its performance against Perfect Cell and Jiren. However, the major caveat is that it requires a lot of charge-up time, so the only time it actually hit at full power was after Vegeta goaded his opponents.

The Stardust Breaker Is Exceptionally Powerful

User: Gogeta

Gogeta is the ultimate fusion in the series as he takes the immense power of Goku and Vegeta and multiplies it into a stable body that will only defuse after 30 minutes, no matter what. In this state, Gogeta has many powerful techniques, such as his own version of the Kamehameha, though the most iconic is his legendary Stardust Breaker.

The true reasoning behind this technique's incredible power is a mystery, but many fans have taken to believing the theory that it effortlessly eliminates those with evil in their souls, such as what happened with Janemba and what didn't happen with Broly. However this attack works, it's a very strong technique that's even more powerful than the Kamehameha.

The Final Kamehameha Merges Two Powerful Techniques

User: Vegito

Just like Gogeta, Vegito is one of the most powerful characters in the entire franchise who owes his immense strength to the merger of Goku and Vegeta's power. As such, his most powerful technique combines the signature attacks of both constituent Saiyans, forming perhaps the strongest beam attack in the series.

The Final Kamehameha takes the Ki control and precision of the Kamehameha and merges it with the unmatched firepower and strength of the Final Flash, creating a technique so powerful that it can erase whatever it comes into contact with. However, the only time it was used in Super, it was against an enemy with an invulnerable body.

The Special Beam Cannon Can Pierce Through Anything

Users: Piccolo, Gohan

As one of the oldest and most iconic techniques in the series, the Special Beam Cannon has always been one of the greatest ultimate attacks that we have ever seen. It was first used by Piccolo in his fight against Raditz to pierce through his body, which is the main calling card of this technique.

The Special Beam Cannon essentially acts like a drill made of Ki that pierces through its target without any effort. While the Kamehameha has only gotten stronger over the years, so too has this attack, as the version used by Gohan Beast and Orange Piccolo is greater than all others before it.

The Spirit Bomb Takes The Power Of The Universe

User: Goku

Goku has quite a varied move set that he has acquired throughout his life as a warrior, with many of the techniques being those he has picked up in his time with others. Among these is the Spirit Bomb, an attack which allows him to absorb the energy of living things to make a massive ball of Ki that will eliminate those with an impure soul.

This technique has also seen a few iterations over the course of the franchise, but the greatest of them is the Super Spirit Bomb that he has used on Kid Buu, where he took the energy from beings across the entire universe in order to make the attack bigger and far more potent than it has ever been before.

Hakai Is The Strongest Technique In The Entire Series

Users: Vegeta, Goku, All Destroyer Gods

Throughout the series, there have been many incredibly powerful techniques that have been shown to destroy entire planets or systems at once. However, none have shown the pure destructive capabilities of the legendary Hakai technique, which is the signature power of the Gods of Destruction.

Hakai allows the wielder to erase things from existence entirely, whether they are objects as small as pebbles to entire planets, with a tap of their fingers. This attack is so deadly that Beerus was shown to erase even a ghost, which is a being with no tangible body. Goku and Vegeta have also shown the ability to use Hakai, though it was not to the same level as Beerus.
