First introduced in Dragon Ball Z's Cell Saga during Vegeta's fight with Android 19, the Big Bang Attack is one of the Prince of All Saiyans' signature techniques; but like most of Vegeta's attacks, he only uses the move a few times in Dragon Ball history. Unlike Goku, Vegeta is always quick to develop new moves, from the Galick Gun to the Final Flash, finding new ways to turn his tremendous Ki into overwhelmingly powerful attacks.

As powerful as the Big Bang Attack is, it doesn't take long for Vegeta's biggest move to get outclassed by stronger Dragon Ball techniques. Between Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball DAIMA, and Dragon Ball Super, the Big Bang Attack just doesn't stack up to Dragon Ball's most powerful moves anymore.

7 Tien's Neo Tri-Beam is So Powerful, He Can Stop Enemies Far Stronger Than Him

Tien was the strongest human on Earth by the end of the original Dragon Ball, but after dying during the fight with Nappa, he never really recovered. He kept training, but Krillin quickly eclipsed Tien's Power Level on Namek, and enemies like the Androids were just too powerful for Tien to compete with. Even at his weakest, though, Tien has an ace up his sleep he can always count on: the Tri-Beam.

The Tri-Beam is a Ki attack so strong, it's designed to kill the user, but Tien is so durable, it only killed him once. By the Cell Saga, Tien developed the Tri-Beam into the Neo Tri-Beam. The Neo Tri-Beam is so powerful, Tien was able to lock Semi-Perfect Cell in place for multiple minutes. In the Majin Buu Saga, the Neo Tri-Beam successfully deflects an attack from Buutenks, saving Gohan's life just in time. Tien may not have the Power Level, but he still has the skills to compete.

6 Super Vegeta's Final Flash Was Strong Enough to Destroy the Planet

The Final Flash is far and away Vegeta's strongest technique in Dragon Ball Z, even more so than the Big Bang Attack. Vegeta busts out the Final Flash during his battle with Perfect Cell. Sensing its Ki, Future Trunks genuinely worries that Vegeta means to destroy the entire Earth with the Final Flash, speaking to the technique's raw power.

Vegeta fights in some of Dragon Ball's most iconic and violent battles, pushing himself to surpass Goku by any means necessary.

The only reason Vegeta doesn't blow up the planet, with Cell with it, is because he ends up holding back at the last minute. At full power, the Final Flash would truly be the final flash of Earth's existence, making it far too dangerous to use except under the most drastic of circumstances.

5 Gohan Beast's Special Beam Cannon (Beast) Stopped Cell Max For Good

Orange Piccolo and Beast Gohan using the Master and Disciple Special Beam Cannon.

Gohan Beast is currently the strongest Z-Fighter as of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, so it stands to reason that any technique he pulls off is bound to be supremely powerful. During the final battle with Cell Max at the end of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Gohan reveals to Piccolo that he learned the Special Beam Cannon while secretly training on the side.

The Special Beam Cannon is already one of the strongest techniques in Dragon Ball – a penetrative Ki attack capable of killing foes with significantly higher Power Levels than the user – and Gohan Beast's exclusive Special Beam Cannon (Beast) version is the most powerful iteration of the attack. After a long fight with Cell Max, the Special Beam Cannon (Beast)'s overwhelming power and expert precision drops Cell Max dead immediately.

4 The Super Spirit Bomb Can Vaporize Most Enemies

The Spirit Bomb has been Goku's ace in the hole technique since the Saiyan Saga, but it only ever managed to beat one opponent in Dragon Ball Z: Kid Buu. The Super Spirit Bomb is an enhanced version of the Genki Dama that takes energy from nearly all of Earth's people, as well as New Namek. The Super Spirit Bomb was strong enough to kill Kid Buu fast enough to bypass Majin Buu's regenerative abilities.

The Super Spirit Bomb's greatest strength is also its biggest weakness: it depends entirely on how much Genki is around to take from. While nature can contribute energy, mortals need to willingly give up their Genki to charge up the attack. That said, it doesn't take much energy to make the Super Spirit Bomb stronger than Vegeta's Big Bang Attack.

3 Future Trunks' Sword of Hope Was Strong Enough to Almost Kill Zamasu

The Sword of Hope is one of the most overpowered attacks in Dragon Ball history, especially in proximity to its user. Exclusive to the Dragon Ball Super anime, Future Trunks' uses the Sword of Hope to fight Zamasu at the end of the Goku Black Saga. By using a combination of the God Ki he took in while training with Vegeta, and absorbing the Genki of everyone still left alive on Earth, Super Saiyan Rage Future Trunks channels all his power into his sword.

Dragon Ball Super's Z-Fighters are stronger than ever, with the top five warriors sporting absurdly overpowered forms that make them God-tier.

The Sword of Hope is more or less Future Trunks' version of the Spirit Bomb, and so strong that Trunks manages to cleave Fused Zamasu in two. This is especially impressive since Zamasu is an immortal villain, and Goku, Vegeta, and Vegito all failed to defeat him. Unfortunately, while Future Trunks does technically defeat Zamasu with the Sword of Hope, his immortality keeps him alive and results in him infecting Trunks' timeline to the point Zeno needs to erase it from existence.

2 SSJ4 Goku's Transcendent Power Kamehameha Shook the Demon Realm

Super Saiyan 4 Goku is an absolute beast in Dragon Ball DAIMA, especially once he becomes an adult again. While fighting with Giant Gomah – the version of Gomah power-boosted by the Evil Third Eye – Goku launches a Kamehameha so powerful, he not only nearly kills the otherwise invincible Gomah, but shakes the entire Demon Realm with his raw power. The Transcendent Power Kamehameha is the single strongest iteration of the Kamehameha in Dragon Ball.

All three tiers of the Demon Realm feel the Transcendent Power Kamehameha as the technique shatters the very fabric of the world. Unfortunately, someone using the Evil Third Eye can only be defeated by having the back of their neck struck three times in succession, so SSJ4 Goku's Transcendent Power Kamehameha ultimately fails to kill Gomah.

1 Hakai is Pure Destruction & The Strongest Technique in Dragon Ball

Also called Destruction, Hakai is the single most powerful technique in Dragon Ball Super. An attack used primarily by each universe's God of Destruction, Hakai can instantly destroy anything or anyone the attack connects with. Beerus shows off a minor version of the technique in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods when he destroys some of Earth's rubble. In the Dragon Ball Super manga, both Goku and Vegeta learn how to use Hakai by observing Beerus.

Goku first uses Hakai during the final battle of the Goku Black Saga. Goku comes extremely close to erasing Zamasu from existence, but when he grabs Mai to use as a distraction, Goku has no choice but to end the technique early. Vegeta later learns how to use Hakai in the Granolah the Survivor Saga when he begins formally training as a God of Destruction. While using Ultra Ego, Vegeta's mastery over the power of destruction in amplified, allowing him to make more natural use of Hakai.
