The Dragon Ball Super manga is well ahead of the anime. Fans have been waiting years to see some of the manga's best moments get animated, and the recent announcements of a remake of the God of Destruction Beerus Saga and the adaptation of the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga mean that's closer than ever to happening.

The Dragon Ball Super manga has some incredible techniques that are just dying to be animated. Some of these are stronger than others, but you can be sure that when Toei finally does work their magic, these attacks are going to look amazing.

Dragon Ball Super: 8 New Characters Introduced in the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga

Get to know these new faces before the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga anime comes out.

Perfected Ultra Instinct (Giant Form)

Goku_Susanoo

We've yet to see what Goku can really do with Perfected Ultra Instinct in the anime. We've gotten a taste of his ceiling during the Tournament of Power, but Goku pulls off some truly incredible feats in the manga thanks to the divine transformation. One move fans can't wait to see get animated will come in the upcoming adaptation of the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga.

Goku's Perfected Ultra Instinct (Giant Form) has only been used a couple of times in the manga, but it's left a lasting impression on fans. Goku can only use the avatar when in Perfected Ultra Instinct, with his blue ki engulfing his body to create the massive form and battle opponents with incredible strength.

Burst Kamehameha

Burst Kamehameha

In the manga, Goku uses his Burst Kamehameha during the Tournament of Power, but we never see it in the anime. The Burst Kamehameha looks like the standard Kamehameha but with a little more flair. Goku backflips and fires off a Kamehameha he's been charging from behind his opponent.

Maybe the move will get animated in a future arc, or maybe, just as Beerus will serve as an enhanced retelling of the God of Destruction Beerus Saga, we'll get Dragon Ball Super: Jiren down the line and see him use the move during a retelling of the Tournament of Power. It didn't do much to Jiren when Goku used it against him in the manga, but it would be a fun move to see animated.

Gamma Burst Flash

Gamma Burst Flash

Like Goku's Burst Kamehameha, Vegeta's Gamma Burst Flash is another technique that only appeared in the manga version of Super. The technique did appear in Dragon Ball Heroes, but has yet to make its debut in the anime.

Vegeta uses the attack during the "Future" Trunks Saga against Goku Black and Future Zamasu, but it takes a massive toll on an already beaten-up Vegeta and drains him of his ki, causing him to revert to his base form at an inopportune time. Vegeta used it again during the Tournament of Power alongside Goku's Kamehameha, but it wasn't enough to take out Jiren.

Forced Spirit Fission

Dragon Ball - Vegeta Uses Forced Spirit Fission on Moro

We've already seen another Spirit Control ability, Instant Transmission, get animated years ago. But with the new Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol anime set to release, we'll finally get to see Forced Spirit Fission come into play in a big way.

Vegeta learns the ability after traveling to Planet Yardrat in order to combat Moro's devastating energy absorption technique. Forced Spirit Fission lets whoever uses it separate the energy from a specific target, while also allowing them to manipulate it in different ways. The technique, alongside Vegeta, will play a critical role in the saga's finale.

Masenko Beam Cannon

Masenko_Beam_Cannon

We've already had some great Gohan and Piccolo moments, especially in the Super Hero movie, but the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol anime will show the Mentor-Student duo team up for an awesome new attack.

The Masenko Beam Cannon, as is implied in the name, combines the Masenko and Special Beam Cannon into one. Gohan fires his Masenko first while Piccolo charges the Special Beam Cannon, with both attacks eventually merging into one and blasting through their target.

Self Destruction Light Grenade

Light_Grenade_Self_Destruct

This is another Piccolo ability we should see in the Galactic Patrol anime. While the attention for the majority of the arc fal;ls on characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Merus, Piccolo still gets some moments here and there.

The Self Destruction Light Grenade looks like a souped-up version of Piccolo's Light Grenade, emitting a strong, almost unstable-looking light in the manga. Unfortunately, Piccolo's attack is interrupted, and we don't see him show it off completely. With any luck, we'll either see its full capabilities in the manga or get a look at what it can do in the manga when it comes back.

Copy Ability

Seven-Three

Seven-Three's Copy Ability is going to play a big role in the upcoming anime, with the OG Soldier's special technique set to wreak havoc on the battlefield. The technique itself isn't much to look at, but it does allow the user to copy the abilities of who it targets, which will make for some interesting visuals.

The Copy Ability only allows the user to store up to three fighters' powers at once, and they can only use the abilities for half an hour. So it's limited in its use, but incredibly effective all the same.

Fire and Flames

Fire and Flames

Seeing Moro's magic get animated is going to be a highlight of the new season. While we've seen magic users like Babidi and Baba in the series before, Moro is in a different class. His mastery over it makes him one of Super's most exciting villains, and seeing his powers animated is going to make a lot of fans happy.

Moro uses his Fire and Flames technique quite a bit, often bringing it out when he's in a pinch to varying degrees of success. The ability makes use of the life energy on whatever planet it's being used on, which can make it a tough technique to deal with, as it can both deal devastating damage in battle and also contribute to Moro siphoning a planet's energy. The technique also appears in the Granloah the Survivor Saga, but we won't see that animated for a while. Speaking of...

Charged Finger Beam

Charged Finger Beam

The anime adaptation of the Granolah the Survivor Saga is still a ways away. It hasn't even been announced or hinted at by Toei. But odds are we'll get it within the next couple of years. When it does come around, we'll get to see Granolah absolutely tear it up on screen.

Granolah's Charged Finger Beam is a massive blast of energy that can devastate whoever's on the other end of it. He charges the technique up in his hand and unleashes an energy beam that's way stronger than his regular Finger Beam. It's not flashy, but seeing Granolah use it in battle once the saga's anime adaptation airs is going to be great.
