Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will not support cross-platform play at launch. According to the game's producer Jun Furutani, it's proven to be incredibly difficult for the team to implement crossplay, so the chances of it being added in the future seem somewhat slim.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will have at least one season pass, which, according to the game's publisher Bandai Namco will introduce 20+ playable characters across three DLC packs.
