Players can redeem the Xbox One version of Dragon Ball FighterZ, and selecting the "Upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S Version" option in the game's main menu gives the user a copy of the game to keep for Xbox Series X|S. How to use the glitch:
1. Redeem the Xbox One version of Dragon Ball FighterZ
2. In the game's main menu, select the "Upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S Version" option.
3. Exit the game and restart the Xbox Series X|S console.
4. Head to the "Owned Games" section of the games library to check if Dragon Ball FighterZ for Xbox Series X|S is tied to the account.
5. Install the Xbox Series X|S version.

Xbox gamers can check if the glitch worked by exiting the game, restarting the Xbox Series X|S console, and heading to the "Owned Games" section of the game library. If the glitch worked after the upgrade, Dragon Ball FighterZ for Xbox Series X|S will appear as a game the player owns.
