Dragon Ball might be all about Goku and Vegeta now, but the series has introduced tons of important characters over the years who've played important roles at different points in the narrative. We've seen some tough villains appear during Dragon Ball's run, and each and every main character has stepped up when they've needed to and done their best to meet those challenges head-on.
Every fighter in Dragon Ball has a wide array of techniques they make use of in battle, from melee attacks to different kinds of energy waves. Some are definitely stronger than others. Regardless of strength, each character has a specific technique that's associated with them, so let's look at what each Dragon Ball main character's signature move is.
Dragon Ball: The 8 Strongest Techniques in the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga
These characters are going to be the strongest in the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga anime.
Yamcha - Wolf Fang Fist
Yamcha hasn't been relevant in the series for a while. But at one point in time, he was a key ally to Goku and was always willing to use his martial arts skills to help out during a conflict. While he can use the Kamehameha like all Turtle School students, Yamcha's most well-known move is his Wolf Fang Fist.
The Wolf Fang Fist was a cool move when it was introduced, but at this point in the series, it's not going to be effective against most enemies. One could make the argument that the Spirit Ball is Yamcha's signature move, and while it's definitely stronger, his Wolf Fang Fist is the one that'll always stand out.
Tien - Tri-Beam
Tien started out with tons of promise as a character, but like many others, gradually got phased out of the story. That's not to say that Tien isn't one of the strongest Earthings in the series, but at this point, that doesn't really matter anymore. Still, he has some great moves, with his most iconic being the Tri-Beam
Tien's last big moment as a character came during the Cell Saga, when he tried to hold off Semi-Perfect Cell by barraging him with his Neo Tri-Beam, an upgraded version of the original move. It was effective and almost paid off, but Vegeta and Krillin made all of his efforts go to waste. It was still strong enough to hold off a character who was well out of Tien's class, which is why it's still so memorable all these years later.
Krillin - Destructo Disc
This technique should really be more effective than it has been in the series. Krillin is Goku's oldest friend, and we've seen him grow just as much throughout the series. While no where bear as strong as Goku, Krillin is a great martial artist in his own right who's developed some amazing techniques.
The Destructo Disc is his most recognizable by far. It's a deadly attack that should be able to make quick work of most enemies, but for whatever reason, it rarely hits. Still, it looks awesome, and it'll always be the first move you think of when you think of Krillin.
Android 18 - Infinity Bullet
Android 18 joined the gang pretty late in the series, but her role in the Androids Saga made her a fan-favorite. 18 has been shown to be proficient with a handful of techniques, including Krillin's Destructo Disc, but the move most associated with her is her Infinity Bullet.
Both the Future and main versions of 18 have used Infinity Bullet to varying degrees of success. In the future, she usually uses the move while venting her frustrations, using it to destroy things around her. She tries to use it against Future Trunks in their final confrontation, but he's able to deflect it with ease.
Piccolo - Special Beam Cannon
Piccolo first used the Special Beam Cannon during Raditz's attempted assault on the Earth, and while the move itself is flashy, there's one big reason why it's so memorable. At the time he used it, Piccolo and Goku were still rivals, with the two forming a temporary alliance to take on the Saiyan threat. The reason why the Special Beam Cannon is that it was the move that killed Goku, along with his brother, for the first time.
Doing what was absolutely necessary to win, Goku held Raditz back while Piccolo charged up and fired the attack, which blasted a hole in each Saiyans' chest. Goku was eventually wished back, but the fact that the move took him out is what made it stick in fans' minds for so long.
Goten - Kamekameha
Goten doesn't really stand out too much as a fighter, despite his lineage. That's not to say that he isn't strong; he's just sort of there and capable of taking care of himself most of the time.
Most of Goten's moveset is similar to his father's and brother's, with the only really memorable individual move in his arsenal being his Kamekameha, a bungled version of the technique both in pronunciation and execution. This matches Goten's carefree attitude pretty well, but he probably should start putting a little more effort into his training.
Trunks - Double Buster
Though not as impressive as his future counterpart, Trunks still managed to turn out to be a solid fighter. Like his dad, Trunks has a calm, borderline-arrogant demeanor when fighting. His taking his training so seriously has led to him developing some solid techniques.
His signature move would probably be his Double Buster, which is similar to Future Trunks' Buster Cannon. It's a pretty strong attack, but it's nowhere near as strong as any of Veteta, Gohan, or Goku's top techniques.
Future Trunks - Burning Attack
Speaking of Future Trunks, this version of the young Saiyan-human hybrid is much more battle-hardened than his main timeline counterpart. While his Buster Cannon is one of his most well-known moves, his equivalent of a Kamehameha or a Galick Gun is his Burning Attack.
Future Trunks notably uses the move against Mecha Frieza, using it to distract him before cutting him down. It's probably one of the most intricate energy waves, with Future Trunks performing multiple rapid arm movements, which is why it stands out so much compared to other techniques.
Gohan - Masenko
Gohan has used the Kamehameha and variants of it throughout the series, but that move is more associated with his father. Thanks to his training with Piccolo, Gohan knows how to use the Masenko, and while it's also Piccolo's move, it's one that most associate with Gohan.
Gohan has used the attack plenty of times in the series, though his most memorable moments using it came when he was younger, like during the Saiyan and Frieza Sagas. He might employ a wide range of techniques, but this is always going to be one that fans associate with him.
Vegeta - Galick Gun
Vegeta has come up with tons of powerful, memorable moves throughout the series. While the Big Bang Attack and Final Flash are also some of his signature techniques, and they're some of his strongest, the Galick Gun gave fans their first look at just how strong Vegeta was.
The clash between the Galick Gun and Goku's Kamehameha on Earth is one of the most iconic moments in the series, with both fighters putting their all into their attacks and laying it all out in that moment. Like most of his other moves, Vegeta has come up with more powerful variations, but nothing beats the original.
