According to the Character Volume of the Dragon Ball Super Exciting Guide, Vegeta's canon height is 164 centimeters, which works out to be around five foot five. This makes him shorter than a lot of the other characters in Dragon Ball, leading many to believe that his short temper and violent outbursts may be linked to some sort of Napoleon complex.

Vegeta certainly demonstrates a lot of the symptoms associated with small man syndrome, feeding further into the angry little man stereotype that has been showcased throughout various forms of media over the years. It probably doesn't help that he's constantly being looked down on, what with there being so many Dragon Ball characters who are taller than Vegeta.

All of the heights and weights used throughout this article are taken from the Character Volume of Shueisha's Dragon Ball: Super Exciting Guides collection, which was released in 2009. Due to Akira Toriyama's involvement with the publication, these measurements are generally considered canon, even if they don't always line up with what's shown in the Dragon Ball manga and anime.

1 Piccolo

Piccolo is 226 cm Tall (7'5")

In Vegeta's defense, Piccolo is taller than most of the characters in Dragon Ball, with the fan-favorite Namekian standing at almost seven and a half feet tall. At two and a half meters, King Piccolo was even bigger and weighed in at a monstrous 200 kg, which is more than three times Vegeta's canon weight (56 kg).

2 Mr. Satan

Mr. Satan is 188 cm Tall (6'2")

Mr. Satan may not be packing much in the power department, but what he lacks in Ki, he more than makes up for in height and mass. The reigning World Martial Arts Champion is taller than most of the Z Fighters, including the Saiyan Prince, and is almost 40 kg heavier than him to boot.

3 Goku

Goku is 175 cm Tall (5'9")

Ever since their initial showdown on Earth, Vegeta has always been one step behind his long-time rival Goku when it comes to power levels. The fact that he's also four inches shorter than him probably doesn't help the angry Prince's ego too much either, with Goku also boasting a 6 kg weight advantage.

4 Gohan (Adult)

Gohan is 176 cm Tall (5'9")

Gohan may not share his father's love of fighting, but the apple hasn't fallen too far from the tree when it comes to both height and weight, with just one kilogram and one centimeter separating father and son. Gohan is a little taller than Goku, although the latter has a slight weight advantage thanks to his hearty appetite.

5 Future Trunks

Future Trunks is 170 cm Tall (5'7")

It's not just Goku's son who's taller than Vegeta, with Future Trunks also having a good few inches over his dear old dad. The latter was already 4'2" by the time he was eight years old, and so was always likely to be taller than his father. If anything, the fact that he only grew to be 5'7" is a bit of a surprise.

Both versions of Prince Vegeta's son have many differences from their father. For both Present Trunks and Future Trunks, their powers reflect that.

6 Bulma

Bulma is 165 cm Tall (5'5")

Trunks clearly didn't get his height from Vegeta, so it shouldn't be too surprising to learn that Bulma is taller than Vegeta, albeit not by much. Vegeta can at least take some solace in knowing that he's taller than Chi-Chi, who's one centimeter shorter than the Saiyan Prince, and around 5 kg lighter.

7 Yamcha

Yamcha is 183 cm Tall (6'0")

Being shorter than his wife doesn't seem to bother Vegeta too much. However, being more than half a foot smaller than her former lover probably hurts his Saiyan pride quite a bit. Yamcha has a pretty decent weight advantage over Vegeta as well, with the Wolf Fang Fist master weighing in at around 68 kg.
