Summary
- Beerus is regarded as the most powerful God of Destruction across the multiverse.
- Proof of Beerus can be best seen by Beerus overshadowing his contemporaries by using Ultra Instinct Omen.
- Beerus' tactical genius and strength put him at the top among all Destroyer Gods in Dragon Ball.
Of all the new things that Dragon Ball Super introduced into the franchise, the concept of the Gods of Destruction and the changes made to the Divine Hierarchy are some of the most beloved additions. With the release of the Battle of Gods movie in 2013, the series introduced many new things to the universe, chief of which was the inclusion of the legendary Destroyer God, Beerus.
Throughout Dragon Ball Super, the main cast interact with Beerus quite often, to the point where he's sort of an ally now, but one who is so much more powerful than the mortals that he just chooses not to meddle in their affairs. Still, though, Beerus has shown very vague glimpses of the power he holds, which is enough to label him as the most powerful God of Destruction across the entire multiverse.

Beerus the Destroyer Arc |
Since his introduction into the story, Beerus was built up as a character who was far more powerful than anyone else the heroes had ever come across before. This was seen in the opening moments of the Battle of Gods film, where he visits a planet and blows up half of it with a mere tap of his finger, which was a feat of strength so astronomical that fans of a series with such outrageous power scaling as Dragon Ball were left shocked.
From here, his lack of urgency even when taking on Super Saiyan 3 Goku was incredible to witness, showing that this was a threat that none of the Z-Fighters were prepared for. Even at the end of the movie, where Goku shattered his limits and achieved his brand-new Super Saiyan God form, Beerus revealed that he was still barely even trying but still managed to defeat Goku in his strongest form. He's so strong that he could have easily dealt with any foe they fought since then but merely just chose not to. Even per Chapter 103 of Dragon Ball Super, which shows the strength of Ultra Instinct and Beast Gohan, Beerus confirms that he's still the strongest.

Why Beerus Is The Strongest Destroyer God
Proof of Beerus Overshadowing His Contemporaries
Well into the Super series, fans already knew that Beerus was far stronger than all the mortals in his and every other universe. However, the true extent of his power wasn't known until an exhibition match was held prior to the Tournament of Power to test out the resilience of the stage that the Grand Priest made, where every God of Destruction was pitted against one another in a free-for-all.
However, every Destroyer held a grudge against Beerus for one reason or another, which prompted them all to work together at the start to face him alone. However, Beerus was more than prepared to take on the strongest beings from every universe by himself, which he managed to do by using Ultra Instinct Omen along with his already overpowered Destroyer abilities, keeping back every God of Destruction all at once.
Anyone stronger than the God of Destruction does not exist!
Not only this, but it also showed Beerus's tactical genius in a battle situation, where he managed to make the most of his surroundings to disorient and damage his opponents. An example of this is when he uses Champa as a distraction to attract the attention of those pursuing him by using their likeness to his advantage, while hiding under a damaged Mosco the entire time. By drawing everyone to Champa's location far above him, Beerus managed to take them by surprise by releasing a massive ball of Ki from behind them.
From here, the rest of the fight largely took place off-screen, but the end of it showed all the Gods of Destruction downed aside from Beerus and Quitela, though both were pretty badly beaten up as well. Just as they clashed, the Grand Priest stopped the bout, showing that these 2 are likely above the others in terms of strength. However, since Beerus is the only Destroyer God who is shown to use Ultra Instinct, even though to a far more limited capacity than even Goku or the Angels, coupled with his sheer might and tactical mind, he is the most probable candidate to be the strongest God of Destruction in all of Dragon Ball.
