Every Dragon Age game includes a main base for the player character to return at the end of each quest, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard is no different. Dragon Age Origins had the party camp, Dragon Age 2 had Gamlen's home and then the Hawke mansion, and Dragon Age: Inquisition had Skyhold. The main base for Rook, the player character in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, is the Lighthouse.

There haven't been many details about the Lighthouse released yet, but it has been revealed that it was formerly occupied by Solas, and that it's either located in the Fade or the Crossroads. BioWare revealed seven rooms within the Lighthouse, with each room belonging to a different companion. As the Lighthouse is located in the Fade, it's possible that the Lighthouse will change to accommodate the desires and needs of its occupants.

How Dragon Age: The Veilguard is Tackling the Blight

The Blight is one of the oldest foes in Thedas, but its origins are still largely a mystery that Dragon Age: The Veilguard needs to solve.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Rooms Reflect its Companions' Personalities

The first image released is of a room that appears to be a basement with a forge. This room likely belongs to Taash, as there is gym equipment, trinkets and various bottles and flasks on a table, and the symbol of the Qunari above the bed. While this room also has a Grey Warden shield mounted on the wall, it's more likely to be Taash's room because she's been described as a gym bro, the trinkets alludes to her role as a part of the Lords of Fortune faction, and the symbol of the Qunari would be incredibly unusual for Davrin's room.

The next room has large windows along the entire length of one wall, is filled with potted plants, has a small bedroll on the ground, and a small, circular pool in the middle. This room is likely Harding's, as she's been described as someone who enjoys taking care of their potted plants and being in nature. The bedroll on the floor could be a throwback to her time in the Inquisition when she was a scout and spent much of her time camping in the wild.

The next room is clearly Emmrich's. It has a smaller version of the massive statues depicted in Nevarra's Grand Necropolis, a vivisection table with old bloodstains, a desk, skulls, books, and potion flasks on the shelves. The room that appears to be Bellara's is well-lit, and covered in mirrors, magical artifacts, and elven relics.

The Lighthouse Reveals More About Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Companions

Neve's room in the Lighthouse appears to be smaller than the others and is more like an office befitting of a detective. Most prominent is a desk in the center of the room. On the wall behind the desk are papers on the wall, possibly related to her cases. Rather than shelves, books are stacked on the floor haphazardly. Her prosthetic leg can also be seen along the left wall of the room.

Lucanis appears to have made his home in the Lighthouse's pantry. There's a bedroll along the far wall, with a few flasks that are likely filled with poison. The rest of the pantry is dark, with crates of vegetables and cheese. Although the room is dark and secluded, it would be an ideal location for an assassin to bunker down.

The final room is likely Davrin's, rather than Taash's despite the presence of the dragon skull. Davrin is a monster hunter as well as a Grey Warden, and would likely have trophies of his hunts displayed in his room. Additionally, Davrin has been woodcarving in official art before, and there is a woodworking bench in the room, with many carved nugs decorating the room. One of Dragon Age: The Veilguard's developers noted that Davrin's room has the best views in the Lighthouse, and this room has massive windows, which would also be perfect for Assan, Davrin's griffon, to use.
