BioWare has recently revealed new screenshots detailing the companion’s rooms in the Lighthouse, which will be the player’s headquarters in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. As Dragon Age: The Veilguard nears its release, BioWare is heavily marketing the game, exciting fans about the eagerly awaited RPG.
It was already clear that BioWare was planning a sequel since the debut of Dragon Age: Inquisition in 2014, but it took the studio nearly 10 years to finally complete it. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will finally be out on October 31, and it is set to continue Inquisition’s storyline, pitting Rook and their companions against ancient Gods in Northern Thedas. After the game’s divisive first trailer, however, BioWare seems keen on sharing as much information about The Veilguard as possible, enticing fans to be excited about the release.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Reveals New Companion Details and Abilities
BioWare reveals more details about the abilities and personalities of the companions players will meet as they play Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Now, BioWare has unveiled seven pictures detailing the Lighthouse, which will serve as the game’s base in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. These are fairly interesting rooms, as each space seems to be heavily tied to the personality of each companion. One of the rooms, for instance, is filled with several paintings and magical and Elven-related objects, likely belonging to Bellara. Another room, which could belong to Scout Harding, is cozy and filled with plants. Like its predecessor, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will greatly emphasize the party, and these personal spaces could be interesting details to understand more about these characters.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Highlights Some Rooms In The Lighthouse
This week, BioWare is focused on exploring the companions of the upcoming Dragon Age. A few days ago, for example, the studio shared new screenshots of the companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Some days ago, BioWare also unveiled more information about Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s combat. In these latest videos, the developer shared some insight on how The Veilguard’s fast-paced action combat will work. While the game will be more action-focused than its predecessor, it seems that building a character with the right skills and abilities will still be important. Dragon Age: The Veilguard players will be able to select and boost special powers, and may set up massive damage-dealing combos by combining these features.
Gamers interested in BioWare’s next game will have the option to purchase the normal edition, which will cost $70, or the special Dragon Age: The Veilguard Rooks Coffer Edition. The deluxe edition is being sold for $220, but it comes with many goodies such as a Companion Litho Print featuring the main characters, a beautiful map of Thedas, and more. Alternatively, this special edition can be purchased for $150, but without the game.
