BioWare has unveiled the first details about Dragon Age: The Veilguard Rooks Coffer Edition, which is being sold for $220 exclusively at GameStop for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. As The Veilguard’s release draws near, BioWare continues to release more details about the game. A few weeks ago, the developers revealed the size of Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s script, which will boast over 140,000 lines of dialogue. This is much wordier than its predecessor, Dragon Age: Inquisition, which only had 88,000 lines.
BioWare also recently confirmed the voice actors for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The list includes big names such as Alex Jordan (Cyberpunk 2077), Jeff Berg (Persona 3 Reload, Battlefield 1), Bryony Corrigan (Baldur’s Gate 3), and Erika Ishii (Destiny 2, Apex Legends) as the voice actors for Rook, the game's main character. The voice actors for the game’s companions have also been revealed, including Jee Young Han as Bellara, Matthew Mercer as Manfred, and Zach Mendez as Lucanis.
Hopefully, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will rise to become one of the best BioWare games after its highly anticipated release almost a decade after the last entry to the franchise. The Veilguard’s marketing materials have had a somewhat mixed reception so far, with some fans criticizing the game’s art style and action-focused gameplay, while others are excited about the new companions and the long-awaited continuation of the story started in Inquisition.
