Popular Twitch streamer Guy "Dr. DisRespect" Beahm continues his foray into other areas of the entertainment world. The two-time esports streamer of the year has already shown up on WWE Smackdown and Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show, but that simply isn't enough for The Doc.
Dr. DisRespect has amassed a sizable following on Twitch, with over 4 million followers and approximately 24,000 subs, there are few streamers out there who can claim to be bigger than him. While there has been some Dr. Disrespect controversy, and not everyone is a fan of the character, there is no denying that he is a recognizable face in the video game world.
Beahm's latest venture will be to write a comedic memoir for the Dr. DisRespect character. A nod to his catchphrase, the memoir is tentatively titled Violence. Speed. Momentum. And will delve into the history of the character with "never-before-told stories." The book will be released in the spring of 2021 from Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, and will also be accompanied by an audiobook read by the author.
Slowly but surely Beahm has branched out into areas other than gaming. Having already introduced a line of streetwear for the Champions Club (the name for The Doc's channel supporters), now fans will get the real scoop on the towering 6 foot 8 inch "WWE character in the competitive gaming world." Speaking about what fans should expect from the memoir, The Doc himself has declared that "fans worldwide will soon marvel at my history's secrets."
