How to Use Mini Medals in Dragon Quest 1 HD-2D Remake
Find a Monarch
You won't be able to do anything with Mini Medals in Dragon Quest 1 Remake until you're able to travel to the southwestern section of the world map. You'll reach this area naturally, a little bit after you visit the Faerie Village as part of the main questline.
The place in question is called the Citadel of the Monarch of Medals. You can see its exact location in the pictures above, but it's not hard to miss!
