Perfect placement is a very important concept in Dorfromantik, and it is something that players must master if they want to maximize their scores. While fans will receive a bit of information about perfect placement during the in-game tutorial, some players may still be confused about exactly how a "perfect" is obtained. This guide is here to shine some light on the matter, and it contains all of the information that players need on perfect placement in Dorfromantik.
Dorfromantik: How to Get Perfect
There are two ways to earn a "perfect" in Dorfromantik. The first method is to place a tile so that all six of its sides come into contact with matching terrain. As an example, if there is an empty space on the board and its perimeter is surrounded by forest, then placing a tile with forest on all six of its sides in that empty space will result in a "perfect." Puzzle game fans can see this represented visually in the following diagram:
The second method begins with an already-placed tile that is in contact with matching terrain on five of its sides. For example, a tile with forest on all six of its sides that is adjacent to forest on five sides fulfills this criteria. In this instance, if a player were to place a forest next to the open side of the already-placed tile, then they would earn a "perfect" in this indie video game. Again, here is a diagram for fans that prefer a visual reference:
To note, players should make sure to look at the colors that appear along the edges of the tiles that they are placing while moving them around the board. Indeed, those colors indicate if the edge is coming in contact with matching terrain, and this feature is extremely helpful when working toward perfect placement in this board game-like title. For the sake of full clarity, white denotes that the edge is contacting a match and pink denotes the opposite.
Dorfromantik: Why Is Perfect Placement Important
There are two incentives for fans to strive for perfect placement, and the first is the 60-point bonus that is awarded for every "perfect." While this may not seem like a tremendous amount of points, the bonus adds up and plays a big role in getting high scores. Furthermore, fans will receive one additional tile in Dorfromantik every time they earn a "perfect," allowing them to prolong their games, obtain more "perfects," and increase their scores further.
